Also while killing mobs you might run into a blue/indigo colored portal, similar to the frito portals. Kill the snowman inside it and you’ll get 5 steadfast gift box. Can do this 3 times daily!

Ain't no Maplestory update without the mandatory follow-up update next day. My game crashed 6 times since last night already. And of course it's always in the middle of something important like a weekly boss or something....smh.

Note, for some reason, the ornament will only appear for the character you accepted the quest on. I made the mistake of accepting the quest on a boss mule and now thats the only one that can do the event. It sucks.

Anyone lost their ornament boxes when logging off/changing character? Don't know if its a bug, i had like 17 ornament boxes on my main, changed character coz i want my burning to accept the event quests. When i got back to main and killed mobs my ornament count started at zero again. T.T

Question for anyone to answer. This is my first time hitting 260. With all of these events giving coupon selectors for Arcane/Sacred Symbols, is it always better to do Sacred or does it really not matter? Most of my arcane symbols are currently 10/11 levels with one being 17 and I just got Cernium unlocked. Arcane dailies/weeklies don't take long at all but I'm also tired of doing them lol, but if choosing Sacred Symbols is better then I will do so.

Selecting the sacred symbols is always the safe choice since in the long run since you will eventually have maxed all your arcane river symbols, however I would recommend you level your arcane symbols, all of them, to around 15 or 16 since it is a big boost for relatively little cost. Its always better to spread levels out between symbols since it maximizes your returns. If you hit 260 and already started the item burn, I would also recommend leveling your arcane symbols to hit the arcane power thresholds for bosses like hard will and hard lucid and above, since with the item burning gear you can join parties to do these bosses and get arcane umbra boxes, which will greatly aid you in your progression

@@onfire20006 Thanks. Yea the one that is 17 is Arcana and that's just because I absolutely despise the weekly for it so I just wanted to get Arcana done. I could definitely do the 15 spread though. I've just been seeing everywhere people suggest Sacred over Arcane.

@@StrangeLeader the guy who answered you is wrong, you are going to have 15-17 arcane symbols in a few weeks just doing dailies where as sacred symbols take 230 days for lvl 1-11, and you really should be taking any chance you can to cut down on that time. That said if you are already burning out after like 4 weeks on this game and doing arcane river dailies, you are a seasonal player that is not gonna last on this game, in which case pick whatever you want it really doesnt matter. The only real answer is sacred symbols, though, so i felt I at least had to comment to correct the incorrect information being fed to you by the other guy
