WE'RE BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER. sorry for the delay :< Just like Chasca, if you watched my first impressions video on Ororon, you might notice that a lot of the explanations/visuals of his abilities are about the same with minor adjustments. Just kinda happens when the core kit doesn't change much during beta. The main updated information about Ororon in this video (compared to my first one) will be his builds, teams, and meta analysis. 1:43 Apparently, on live patch, the A1 requirement to gain Nightsoul points has been reverted to just hydro and electro damage, so now a character like Chasca can proc it as well.

I disagree with only considering 4pc Hero on Ororon. If you're using him with Xilonen (who is equipped with 4pc Hero), 4pc Emblem is a solid choice.

Also, I'm using Xilonen instead of my high EM Kazuha because my Xilonen is C2.

@@supersonicgood in general 4pc scroll should be the only set, but in that scenario it should be different. it may still be better to keep Ororon on scroll and put XIlonen and 4pc instructor for instance, but yea if you have 2 scroll users you're kinda forced to swap depending on the team

Ororon is looking more relevant than Chasca in my opinion. He is basically a cross between Emilie and Chevreuse, in that both his damage and his buffs are reliant on a lesser used elemental reaction. His major weakness seems to be his single target damage. Bosses and other single enemies are very relevant in Genshin's endgame content. To the point that if I had to choose only one, Single Target and Multi Target, I will always choose the former. That is why I consider Fischl to be the best 4* electro character and effectively in a 3 way tie with Raiden Shogun and Clorinde for best overall electro character. Ororon is possibly the best post-launch 4* character to be released in Genshin, but I will need to see how he does over the next few weeks at least to make a definitive conclusion.

Cyno just got a new best teammate. ^-^ I've been using the team you recommended with Cyno since 4.2 but with Beidou/Fischl instead. It performs just as well as his premium and doesn't suck in multi wave.

I was pulling for lyney. Lost 50/50 to Qiqi. But got Ororon at C2 instead. I fell in love with Ororon! He is so fun to play! I will keep pulling for Lyney just to C6 my new adopted son. He is definitely part of my permanent team!

Thanks a lot for the info. But, just one more thing. Is Ororon viable with mualani? Mualani is a natlan character, and she can trigger electro charge. But i dont think electro charge can do more than vape dmg? And Xiangling is my ONLY pyro applicator.

Actually what is his potential as a buffer for Dendro related teams? He still can go into nightsoul state due to electro dmg allowing him to gain nightsoul points so the natlan artifact should still be able to proc to buff both electro and dendro. Would he elevate the Tighnari, Fischl, Nahida and Ororon teams?

He would be more of a strict buffer with 4pc scroll since none of those characters have nighsoul-aligned damage to proc his A1. But regardless, it’s still incredibly valuable since Dendro units don’t have easy access to DMG bonuses from outside sources

i think only one orb can exist on the field, so waiting to cast two skills for energy is going to prolong your rotation a lot. better to just go damage weapon + er sands

I wanted ororon but got chasca in 30 pulls on 5050, but when i want a 5 star, i have to spend 150 wishes. Hate how this happens everytime i want a 4 star. But atleast i got two copies of him in a 10 pull but spent 60 wishes to get him.

Tbf Stringless only buffs SKILL DMG, which isn't Ororon's main DMG output also it's hard to tell if EM really works on him despite the DMG buff on Electro-charged reaction yet

most of his talent damage scales off ATK. and due to the nature of the electro-charged reaction, it is hard to make Ororon be the trigger of the reaction, cause if he isn't, the EM isn't used

mostly because it lowers his damage + hard to proc since's off-field. better to use an ATK bow with ER sands in terms of damage

Ororon’s A1 passive does not deal skill damage, therefore Stringless (and by extension Golden Troupe) would not work for him

EM not that useful, and a good portion of this damage isn't skill or burst dmg. only the burst dmg% part is ok. atk% weapons will be better

grats! typically night soul points is the gauge/bar that natlan characters have, and they spend them on their main attacks (you can see their gauges slowly deplete, for instance)

I don't care about his meta utility, i just love his character and animations but he's so clunky to play on console. Specifically, Hoyo need to let you aim with l2/lt when in the air cause i can't aim with the right joystick AND hold attack at the same time. I really hope they update this like they did Neuvilettes charged attack because it makes his mid-air charged shots near impossible to use on console
