🧙‍♂️ Everything You Need To Know About WANDS in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

One of my favorite items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has to be the wand! In this video, I'll show you how to where to find all 22 DIY recipes, what the wands do, and how to use them.
Before New Horizons, I hadn't played an Animal Crossing game since the original on GameCube. So it has been even more fun for me to unlock and use them for the first time.
If you have never gotten a wand before, it can be used to quickly change your appearance by switching to another outfit. You have 8 customizable slots to set up your outfits.
At the time of this recording, there are 22 wands in the game according to the Animal Crossing Fandom Wiki.

@@dennism4356 Most of them are random recipes you get from Celeste. I would say some of the easier wands to get are from the Bug-Off or Fishing Tourney. I like the bunny day wand and the snow wand when I made the perfect snowboy he did not give me the snowflake wand and I did not get the bunny day wand because I got the game late

I actually don't have the Ice Wand yet myself. From what I've read though, you need to get the recipe from Snowboy...and you only get recipes when you make a perfect snowboy. You also get a large snowflake when you make a perfect snowboy. I may need to make a video on how to do that!

It's one of several things that are, well, a bit pointless if you already have one. They don't break, different wands don't have any different effects or increase the number of clothing sets so, other than the look, might as well go and sell them. I guess it's down to how much you care about a certain look about a certain item, I can see why some would consider it totally pointless.

The thing is I bought summer shells to craft a mermaid wand on nookazon I tried editing the wand outfits on the shell wand and it didn’t work it just had the wand outfits spaces took up from the other wand

Yeah, unfortunately the wand outfits are the same across all the wands you own. Kinda weird they don’t allow you to have different outfits for different wands, but that’s sadly how it works for now.

Sure! You can get the Mums wand DIY as a random drop from popping balloons. Hyacinth is a random DIY from Celeste. As for the mushroom wand, you can get it during mushrooming season, which starts in November in the Northern Hemisphere and May in the Southern. Good luck!

If you craft multiples of the same wand, can you not create more than the 8 presets? I've got two ice wands, but they both pop up with the same outfits.

I would like to say that the wishing stars last all day I believe because today for my island there is going to one and the last time I did one not to long ago btw I just started playing 2 days ago the first time I got 110 in that one day and I could have gotten more it started at like 7 for me and it lasted way to long there were still way more wishing stars but I ignored them and went to sleep because I have done 110

😮😞 Do the wands all links to the same 8 outfits??!? Do you not get to save 8 outfits per wand??!? That sucks. I had the Ice Wand and just crafted the Star wand and I can't have 16 saved outifts.

Yes, unfortunately that’s correct. The outfits carry over to all wands and the max number of saved outfits is 8 ☹️

Yep, wands can be gifted to others. You could also have them gift you a star fragment as well if you wanted to craft it yourself.

It ran from June 1st - June 30th. Last I heard, you could still access it by time traveling back to those dates. Haven’t heard of anyone checking since the latest update from Nintendo though so it’s always possible they removed it. Let me know if you try. I’m curious too! 😊
