Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure a 5 star island is all about quantity over quality, for example I’ve seen an island with the same piece of furniture just everywhere for no reason and they manage to get a five star island. So basically you need A certain amount of flowers, a certain amount of trees, a certain amount of furniture, certain mount of bridges/inclines, and paths.

Yep! You got it! It’s all point based within the two categories! You can def place repeat items around but will start to impact you negative if you put them within the same 8x8 square

I got five stars recently for the first time ever and I was shocked when I got it because I only had a few bridges and inclines, I definitely didn't have max of each so I was very confused (but I'm so happy I finally got 5 stars, I have about 6 lily of the valleys now and around 12 or 13 gold roses! I've been able to maintain the 5 stars even while time traveling a day forward!

Super easy steps for people 1. Decorate your island with furniture and spread fencing with flowers and trees 2. Build some new shopping stores like a cafe and playground, a pool or anything you like 3. You get 4 stars 4. Talk to isbelle about your island rating and check if she says you need for nook shopping, nook miles and nooks cranny furniture 5. If that does not work keep placeing flowers of trees 6. Check videos if you want to see how islands look for 5 stars And finally 7. Build some bridges a inclines, you would at least need 6 inclines and 7 bridges Well there you have it

Thanks for this! I generally have a flat and spacious island. I was stuck at 2. Wanted to get hybrid flowers so I focused on that. I've been increasing my flowers. Ranking then turned to 4. I don't like too much terraforming so I had to add it. Only have 1 bridge and 2 inclines hehe. Now it's 5! Yay

REALLY HELPFUL! I only have a 3 star island, so this really helps! The only thing I worry about is Timmy & Tommy. The poor things have to restock one thousand of these every single day.... Or maybe they just have a magical closet that spawns the item

Good review! But precision: things put on stalls, tables, benches etc. DO count towards your 15 clutter max. Unless you "place" them, but you gave the exemple of tickets, and specifically those can't be placed just dropped so they would count. :3

1upPHIL yes, you are right. I am not a time traveler, don’t have 3 non native fruits, never invited or visited any friends island. But I moved from 4 stars to 5 stars by carefully listening to isabelle in 1 day as I focused and decided to achieve 5 stars this weekend, spoke to isabelle every 10 minutes.. Mine is a simple island, decently decorated, not much fancy stuff though I did get rare items my work & luck.

I think Nintendo caught too many people cheating. So they made it harder and patched so many glitches. When I began playing in 2019, I got to 5 start super quick. And things moved faster. Now even the store keeps repeating items like crazy and it’s way harder to get a 5 star

@@juliamclendon310 i dont know what fixad it But after picking up all weeds not dropped one but the Ones growing cutting a few trees moveing some trees so theres more space and also putting some stuff in storage and putting more space between furniture it worked also stuff droppe inside your house counts too I Think. I had some gold and recipes there I had to pic them up. Also i heard recipes droppe on stalls Count too..
