Great install! You make it look easy... We did a catless Trackslag install on another R and it sounded insane. WGT hysteresis factor doesn't scale with EGT, so watch for boost spikes and creep before you update your tune. :)

Did you at any point got eml light on miltek? I have 200cell race miltek and I get catalyst system(bank 1) efficiency bellow threshold

They say a 4 inch downpipe is to big for the stock turbo and you Will have performance lost, is it true?

I didn’t experience any loss in performance when I was on the stock is38

Did you really think this makes a difference vs 3.5"? I am concerned about rubbing issues and also use my car during the winter. CTS 3.5" is what im thinking about.

thank you for this! i'm literally in the middle of my trackslag install. tons of good info here! theres absolutely no way you would have gotten an OEM downpipes out with the 034 motor mounts. how do you like them?

Thanks for the video. Looking to do a downpipe install myself and I’ve been wondering if the Quickjack would get the car high enough for the job 👍🏻 Can you please tell me, did you have to put both blocks in to get enough height?

I just use one block. The car is too low to start with two, actually so it would be a pain to add the second

@@EVERYTHINGcpo Thanks. Good to know. I was thinking I might need to try to get some extra height. I was looking at their SUV adapters, which would get it 24” off the ground. Seen folk recommend 2ft at least. I would’ve needed to go up and then down onto something to then get the adapters in, which would be a pain. @@DandyNun if I had to do it, the way I would do it would be to lift the car and then set it down with wheel ramps underneath all four corners so that I can lower the jack again, add the adapters, and then lift again from there. Unfortunately I only have two ramps so I’d have to borrow or buy another set so that it could be sat down flat.

I have ramps and some home made blocks for the other axle, that I’ve used for doing the DSG and Haldex services (I don’t have the downpipe yet, or the Quickjack 😀). My worry is that I might need to go fairly high for the first step and then the Quickjack doesn’t come down (because the weight of the car is now not on them). I can try it when I get the QJ, but good to know I can do it just with the normal blocks in.

EQT is a preferred dealer in the US (eqtuning.com) but they will ship direct from the manufacturer. I did order direct from Trackslag though. Shipping is surprisingly fast if they have them in stock.

That’s after the lpfp!!! In fact the euro manifold arrives tomorrow, but the MPI rail kit is still a couple of weeks away. The LPFP is probably happening next week.
