The beginning of this is spoken by Ren's friend Kit and it is from the Bible Timothy 6 6-10 . His sister (Leah) lives off the grid she is all about nature and living off the land he is very proud of her and you can tell he loves her very much this was supposed to come out for her birthday but stuff happens and it was delayed most importantly he got it out. This beat is very good as well and came from a producer that reached out during the Kujo situation cause he also had a similar problem with Kujo they got to talking and Ren asked if he wanted to do a song together they are splitting it 50 /50 as kind of a F/U to Kujo at the same time. I knew you would just get it like you always do with Rens songs .

Definitely Biblical. The opening is 1 Timothy 6:6-10. In the verse it says "the love of money"- it's often misquoted. Money isn't the root of evil, but the love of is evil. I love that Ren put the line "money saves lives, takes lives, money both" because it is. It is both good and bad. It all depends on intent imho. I always love your reactions...especially to comedy and Ren. :) All my best to you and yours! Keep spreading your love. Edit- just got to the part you're speaking about Kujo. This does relate to that. The producer of this song also had a similar issue in the past with Kujo. So, Ren offered the same deal to nayz (this producer) he did to Kujo- 50/50 publisher split and part of the master. Kujo declined out of greed. Nayz accepted and the rising tide will lift all ships.

This man called Ren wrote it in his lyrics years ago that I think perfectly describes what we are witness to with his music. He said in Heretic, "what's the price of creativity? Is it losing your mind? Finding patterns in the places where the patterns hard to find". His suffering in Life has opened the flood gates to creativity and it has been affecting him for so long he has mastered the delivery to the world as we see in each and every release. Great reaction!

I have been watching this countless times a day. I have also been watching reactions to it…multiple times a day. I love that it shot in black and white…because nothing ever is, except unconditional love ( as evidenced by REN’s verse for his sister). And he says that his parents made sure to provide them with warm meals , but the nourishment came from the “ bellies full of love “. Money IS a tool; it holds power. It can make you have a comfortable life, but that is not a guarantee for happiness/ contentment/ fulfillment/ purpose. It can be cutthroat ( destructive); or it can create a better world, carve out / create something beautiful ( productive) for more than just personal gain. When Ren is walking with his arms outstretched he looks as if he’s on a curb or beam, balancing need and want. Hard work deserves to be rewarded. Sometimes I feel like WE are the ones who are being rewarded . Which is why we cherish Ren as we do. He is priceless.

The piece about his sister is beautiful. You're right, Ren was sent here on a mission. Every word, every lyric, every rhyme scheme, his own video production, attention to detail, nothing is aimless, throw away. So glad I'm experiencing Ren in the here and now, we are seeing something rather special.

Just about to go to bed and you go dropping this reaction at 2am in the UK! OK, you got me, but I'm blaming you for getting up late in the morning. The fun thing about this track is that Ren collaborated with Nayz, a producer who had also been stung by Kujo and reached out to Ren, and they came up with this. Ren speaking truths as usual. Life messages packed in a dope beat and packaged in an artistic wrapper. It's a shame that most of the world still seems to be sleeping on him, but on the other hand I would hate to see him get swallowed by the machine. Love your reaction as always! Completely agree that Ren is hard to react to first time as he normally packs so much in - we expect far too much!

@ 2:06: You said that money does make you happy, but then immediately went on to talk about how letting it control you is the problem. You're absolutely correct, and I'd like to suggest a different way to look at this: The happiness isn't in the money. it's in the freedom the money gets you. It's being able to grab sushi for dinner, being able to buy your kid a toy they want, being able to go on a vacation, take a day off work to go hiking, or get the a/c in your car fixed. Whatever it is. When you reframe this as "what I can do with money makes me happy," the whole disclaimer about allowing it to control you is no longer necessary, because it's not actually about the money anymore. It never actually was. And in my opinion, from that perspective, the distinction between loving money for what it can do, versus loving it for the sake of it, is a lot more clear--as is the reason why the love of money itself is a terrible road to go down.
@suzieque9934Ай бұрын
Growing up we never had any of the luxuries money could bring...coats on our beds in winter to keep warm...sharing the bath water...sharing one chocolate bar bought by our local church charities....mum making cuddly toys out of old clothes...sharing and taking turns to cook xmas dinner with our neighbours etc etc...but hand on heart I wouldn't change those memories even if I could...I grew up appreciating the true value of family..love and sharing...as an adult despite working my whole life in a professional role I need very little to feel happy...just being alive and spending time simply sitting with my family chatting and laughing...kicking a ball around with my grandson...seeing his bewilderment looking at those kids who throw a tantrum when they can't have something....cuddles and living free of wanting material things in order to feel fulfilled is the best feeling in the world ❤

I think the comedian, Paul Smith put it best, when he said, "money won't buy you happiness but it'll sure make being unhappy a lot easier to cope with but, no it won't make you happy because there is only one thing that will achieve that - heavy psychedelic drugs." *By the way, welcome back to one of the best renactors out there. Everyone's pursuing wealth, because if you're rich, then you don't need to "earn a living" anymore, but all we need to do is guarantee to "All People" as a 'Basic Human Right', The right to 'High Quality' Food, Clothing, Shelter, Education, and Healthcare. If everyone was guaranteed those 5 things, poverty would end, and the world would be slowly transformed into a near-Utopian Paradise.

He is just a person that goes through life with his eyes wide open, eays on alert, and a brain set to listen before he speaks. I am getting what he says because i have stopped trying to judge what he says and just listen. And set aside my lived experiences. That way, i don't get defensive. If i start to get defensive, then i have to stop the music and figure out why, and if the defensiveness is justified . People are not used to others being blunt, and i find Ren is. Nit sure if that is how he is in real life or if his music is the way he translates it. I enjoy listening to him.
