Mooncake is so so so cute. I especially like his soft, fluffy neck when he washes his face. It's bittersweet to think he might get married someday, but if that's what he wants, I just want him to be happy. I love Mooncake so much!

I had a cage aggressive dwarf, tried to bite anytime I put my hand in her tank, even if I was offering treats, but she quickly learned to jump in a cup for playtime and loved to run all over me and the big chair I sit in and would accept treats from my hand when outside her enclosure.

I have a dwarf hamster too. She was always fidgety and hand aversive until she got sick one time and I was forced to be a bit more forceful with her so she'll take her medication(the thing smelled awful so it was no wonder she didn't want the damn thing, and no, treats dipped the damn thing didn't work). Seeing she was usually a a bit tired after her futile attempts of fighting off the big scary pipette, I tried giving her a shoulder rub one time and it turned out she likes massages in general. Ever since then, she actually comes to my hand when it's in her enclosure rather than hiding away from it. So yeah, even the more difficult hamsters can be tamed if you can find out what works with them.
