This is my favorite arc in GT not because its serious it's because all of the wishes they made in the past literally came back in the past to haunt them but each shadow dragon has been created one of those dragon balls for example syn/omega shenron got created because of the wish back on namek but each shadow dragon has their own unique abilities but the shadow dragons is one interesting idea they did but the most interesting thing about the shadow dragons is whatever area their at theres some kind of disaster is happening because of them

The Black Smoke Dragon smoking the ZaZa pack is one of the funniest memes in Dragon Ball and what Elder Kai said about Bulma being at fault for overusing the Dragon Balls was 100% facts. Bulma created the Dragon radar and seek the dragon balls for her own selfish goal of getting a boyfriend. Her passing the blame onto Goku doesn't work in favor cause Goku would have never known about the Dragon balls if it wasn't for her and he would have never been able to find them without her Dragon radar, so yeah Bulma is almost entirely to blame. In all honesty, both her and Kami are at fault, Kami should have warn everyone about overusing the Dragon Balls at the 23rd World Tournament Arc in Dragon Ball.

Elder Kai was correct and had every right to yell and blame Bulma. Especially if you add Super into the mix, which would make it even worse. They had abused and constantly kept misusing the dragons balls. Yes, the gang had used them for good and genuine reasons, but they honestly had no business overusing them as long as they did. These people literally cannot survive even one second without using them lol. They made Bulma in Super pretentious and extra shallow. Imagine putting the fate of not only the earth but the whole universe in danger all because this dumb dumb wanna wish for only self-beauty and to get a bigger butt. Like girl… you’re rich and famous! What do you need the dragon balls for when you can simply get a Botox and plastic surgery?

It started with these og db like episodes right after the climax of Buu saga's cool fights with no break , and then the stigma around it is really creating a warped understanding compared to reality . Like people say , nobody other than Goku does anything in GT . Even in fights u could make several and several important mentions upto the baby arc , till episode 40 , only after that they simply fall behind in scaling and really just keep an opponent busy for the most part but still do that much in the last 24 episodes , except Vegeta who contrary to popular belief , is established to have caught up to Goku in shadow dragon arc and is as important as him from a point. And outside helping in the fighting itself , there have been MANY TIMES Goku gets saved right out of the face of death. The kais are the ones who carried baby arc , Goku was just done bullied in ssj3 just by Baby Vegeta's ssj and on his way to being permanently erased from existence by his RDB , Kibito kai is the one who tried to rescue him and at least saved him from getting erased completely due to the indirect hit cuz it only caught him after they had already vanished with the instant teleportation , they're the reason he didn't die after that as well getting a tail and becoming stronger than Uub as golden ozaru , yeah also this Uub gets like no respect for being the strongest good guy at one point , after training in baby arc he equally clashes with and pushes back a holding back Super baby 2 slamming him into a wall to the point the possessed saiyans think he's actually losing and come to intervene , Baby also says he's interested in Uub's power and this is two transformations after the one that bullied ssj3 Goku and was just unimpressed , as Majuub pushes around a completely serious Super baby 2 to the point he had to inflate his muscles heavily like the grade 3 ssj form to win the beam clash , yet he lets himself get eaten as chocolate on purpose to come back at the right moment and is the reason they were able to make Goku a full power ssj4 at all instead of being k*lled by Baby . It'll be a way longer essay if i mention everything . Aimin says nobody can help now and Vegeta is just gone , when he's literally the one who held off Super 17 and stood his ground the most a few episodes ago when Goku was gone , this idea that Vegeta did more before just isn't based in reality , he may have gotten like a cool scene against Buu , yet he never amounted to as much as Goku in any arc. He also said it's sad how nobody can " help " now right after watching Goku lose and 18 being a key contributor in Super 17's defeat . So the fandom is kinda even more weird than usual when it comes to GT . Some of it is dub fault for messing with a bunch of relevant info sub mentions , some of it is just group conformity thing which seems to be the case here . The side characters overall do way more than in Buu saga which is longer than all of GT , even ones like Piccolo they made such a bad joke of him in Buu saga while in GT everytime he shows up he gets something done and actually does important things even if not directly competing to characters in fights . But " GT is the bad show and it's the Goku time " influence trumps the facts that it's only as much Goku time that dragon ball has mostly been except Cell saga final fight .
