The dragon fist multiplier is OP, it could penetrate Super 17 where SSJ4 couldn’t deal damage to him, also add in fact Base Goku couldn’t lift a finger, so Base Goku was only at 1%-10% power. Imagine a SSJ4 with the dragon fist multiplier.

It's not nearly strong as ssj4 let alone stronger , Super 17 wasn't able to reinforce ki on his body while absorbing ki cuz Goku said he was vulnerable in that pose that's why he could beat him like that. It's still ridiculous but not comparable to Ssj4 itself.

This is canon timeline the old one , watch daima trailer . It turns out old continuity becoming non canon were just speculations after all never backed up by official confirmation. Now they're established false as the trailer for the latest series shows old dbz and gt rather than replacing them with dbz kai and only continuing with super .

That "struggle" inside Super 17 that Goku was talking to 18 about was between Android 17 & Hell Fighter 17. Android 17 was not in control of Super 17. It was all Hell Fighter 17. In the end Android 17 broke through Hell Fighter 17's control and exposed Super 17's weakness

5:28 He has a certain way of absorbing energy through the front part of his body but can't do it from anywhere as we never saw him doing it in a different way even though that would be the better option in many points of the fight , like when he was running away from Ssj4 Goku to make him shoot ki blasts he was still turned towards him while absorbing the blast . So here he got damaged pretty good , yet it was stated that he survived this due to putting up a special barrier at the last moment , otherwise he should've been finished.
