You were just brilliantly explain how this car really do and even in small part you are paying high attention. Especially the tyre part, you know the tyre perform well and it wasn't eco type of tyre. Yes, Hankook S1 Evo 2 is the highest spec tyre of Hankook and in all Malaysia SUV in range below RM200k only Tiguan fitted highest spec of tyre. You are the best host and dept knowledge in automotive. Well done man!

After watching this video, I bought the car even if the X70 is in the corner from launch. So far I'm very satisfied with it, I did hope it comes with autonomous braking and active cruise control. Maybe I'll look into 3rd party installation in the future. You've earned a new sub too, good job Bobby. You're like the Dave2D of cars, with Malaysian accent lol.

@Edmund Please share if you get any problems because i read in one of the comments in another Tiguan youtube review. That person says that he is an owner of a tiguan but had a problem with the high pressure pump that makes a metallic sound after only 1200 km on its mileage and VW says it the warranty does not cover it.

Absolutely agree about the charm! I bought a 2019 in April and I was not certain I would love it but I have fallen in love. It has grown on me each time I drive it! And I have no regrets. The engineers have thought of little things like he said. And you notice them with time. This reviewer makes so much sense to me. Very intelligent and true!

Test drove this car, goes 165 kmh and you know what? It feels like 120 kmh in civic fc. This car chassis and suspension setup is brilliant. Love it. and yeah, I'm Civic FC owner.

Ary Adler Civic feels nice. It handles very well. The suspension setup is in between sporty and comfort. Comfort speed for me around 170-180. 180 above feels not secure but the car planted on the road well enough.

I think the fold up tables are sturdier in Toyota Innova than this one. But this car is damn nice looking and the infotainment and digital cluster are heaven for tech geek like myself.

The X1 is a much more powerful car but somehow the tyre noise is intrusive and annoying. Pretty disappointing for such an expensive car. Maybe you have to change to quieter rubbers if they still use Bridgestones or install additional sound proofing. The Tiguan feels lighter and more agile for urban driving while the X1 is a little on the "heavy" side. The latter is a lot more stable for speeds above 150 km/h though. Oh...1 other thing - the X1 does not have auto hold like the Tiguan. This is such a useful feature especially in start stop traffic ! My foot need not step on the brakes all the time. So much more relaxing.

Fungus Foong very true about the tires noise as it uses Run Flat tyres..very good points that u actually brought up..it is slightly on the heavier side especially during turns...mybe its the badge & the free 5 years service that attracts me to BMW the most.. Tiguan is a really good car too, as i test drove it 4 times😂 my main concern with VW is reliability & after sales service issues shared among ex VW owners.
