In this vid Dave takes us roughly through the inspection process on this 4B11 head that has been road racing in China for a few years. All is not good though, Dave shows what happened and how you can avoid it on your own build!

Basically your technique in explaining is explanatory, however how do you prevent this from happening. ?

So after watching a few videos from you ive seen numerous cars have valve float issues , such as the 2j is300 head with s1 cams . Is it an issue with the standard GSC beehives not having enough spring pressure for the demand of the build ? and if so do you recommend the conical springs more so over the standards with a cam like kelford 214-c or GSC S2

Great question! In the 2JZ it is the spring. But, we have also been highlighting the valve float and damage it causes on the 2JZ and other genre's because there was a bunch of rhetoric that the billet cams kill buckets in a 2JZ and we were trying to show it is not a 2JZ problem it is a valve float issue displacing the oil on any head. We have shown where it is good to go as well!
