Oh wow, nice numbers on a stock turbo. I feel like I'm definitely undertuned. Had mine done in Tx when I lived there, upgraded turbo, etc but only pushed 422whp. I definitely need to have mine retuned soon.

What turbo did u use ?

@@bdalchemist Garrett GTX3076R I believe it's a .94 trim, I got that for higher boost. I got 1,000 cc fuel injectors, aem fuel pump, short ram intake, AMS intercooler and piping, tial bov, greddy exhaust with grimmspeed electronic boost controller. I only made 422 whp with 344tq. I plan to take my car up to atl to get it retuned good this time.

I was told his dyno had some calibration work done to it and it read 8-10% lower after the service ...I've gone through 3 setups with him. My first setup was bloush 2.5xtr stock intercooler, stock boost controller, catted dp, intake, tomei uel and some fueling, I made 324whp @18psi/337whp@22psi. Then I went back and added catless dp, ebcs, grimmspeed tmic, made 315whp@18psi/346whp@22psi 93 on the same dyno. Car was definitely faster from my butt dyno.

Thanks for a professional video! No cursing, no horrid "music" is great to hear. Are you able to tune sst tables on remote tune? What is the torque/hp limit? Trying to decide which way to go with my Ralliart the stock turbo is going out (power loss, 12-15 mpg fuel economy smokes like a diesel) I have a stock Evo x turbo to go on it , but curious if the flex fuel would be worth it for me, or be a waste.

Flex fuel tuning is worth it no mater what ur platform is. And yes I do do remote tunes for sst as well and am able to log and manipulate all tables. You should check out my other vids that deal with that.

Might be a noob question, just recently got a 2015 X MR, and the mods that I know of on it was exhaust, intake, coils, wheel spacers, and just recently discovered it has grim speed boost controller (the guy at the used dealership didn’t even know about the boost controller) my car burbles and pops quite frequently, I’m wondering if there’s a way to find out if it already has a tune on it or not

U can read the tune using a tactic 2.0 cable. U can add gauges ad see what boost and afrs u are running.

How you going to run 12.1:1 air to fuel on e85? That's like 16:1 on e10. Makes no sense. 11.5:1 equivalent to e10 93 pump is like 8:1. So lambda .75ish I'm genuinely confused or heard you wrong

@@bdalchemist why do you guys do it that way? If best range is say 7.5:1 e85 why call it 12:1? Is it for customers to understand. Why not use lambda? Just seems like added confusion or customers trying to tune themselves and not ending well.

Not that I owe any explanations but it's easier for me to say "make sure your afrs reads below 12" instead of giving them a decimal point to look for. Also with a flex fuel tune it's even more confusing to keep changing ur gauge calibration.

Why do you normally stop at 380WHP? I’ve heard you can safely push the stock block to 450-500 max whp. Just curious.

You can push the stock block to 700hp but you need a tuner that knows what they’re doing

So what happens if yo upgrade the map sensor to a 4bar Nd upgrade the wastegate to a aftermarket like a turbo smart

On the stock turbo , u won't need a 4 bar. And getting an after market wastegate will help to get a bit more top end power.
