It’s still a huge shame that the bosses in Mario Kart Wii were scrapped after Online shut down. Would’ve loved to tackle Wiggler in a race, it would’ve triggered some heavy Diddy Kong Racing nostalgia.

The DS bosses were pure nostalgia. The tour ones were just facing mega characters, which was alright except for the mega Dry Bowser one.

​@@Sonicice24 Well, not for all people. With an addition of a dry bones army, it can rly annoy other players. Heck, I even lost, 2nd place, to a dry bones. It took a little while before succession, but after thinking about it, I kinda understand why some people find it as easy as the other mega bosses. But it still can be troublesome for some players, considering the fact that the addition of the 4 dry bones racers makes this boss different from the other mega bosses. But that was me at first. I find it easy now.

My favourite one was always the king boo one, even though you had to use peach. King boo would always take your coins and I’d just turn aggressive and try and bust it (ghostbusters 😂) Hence why I main king boo in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

Mario Kart 9 must be the game that gives us the return of mission mode and not just the boss fights but mission mode in general. I feel we should evolve Mission mode into a full on story mode. If the mario sports games, mario party, and diddy kong racing can have a story mode then so can mario kart.

I’m glad I own a DS with two epic Mario games. One being SM64 DS, and of course Mario Kart DS the best Mario kart game to have mission mode. If Nintendo releases a new Mario kart game, it better include mission mode and maybe a story mode. But definitely mission mode

Mario Kart DS Bosses Ranked #7: Big Bully - Make sense since he’s the first boss. But come on. One hit #6: Wiggler - The race between Wiggler feels way to easy #5: Chief Chilly - The third phase ruins this boss for me #4: Goomboss - At least he tries to take you down unlike Wiggler #3: Eyerok - Unique but still a little easy #2: King Boo - This can be a challenge if you don’t pay attention #1: King Bob-Omb - Landing hits on him feels so satisfying and even nostalgic
