I should mention in Dream Spacewalk, if you spin Dino Piranha's fire balls, than bubble boost towards his tail, you deal more damage, which if you didn't play Galaxy (I highly recommend playing Galaxy by the way), the first boss is Dino Piranha, and his weakness his his tail, in which you have to smack four times to defeat him, that's some attention to detail Sega.

There's also an easter egg in mario Odyssey where if you pause and select a few things and then press b the sound effects will line up to play a part of the comet observatory theme. Also the cloud track from mario kart 8 has part of the gusty gardens theme at the end. It's really interesting how nintendo can still give so much love to these games this far in the future but not show any signs of wanting to remake them.

In odyssey, when the odyssey gets fixed, a tune plays as the moons fix it. In the first galaxy (gateway) after you catch the luma bunnies and when the building gets formed, a similar sounding tune plays.
