Lotus Says it fits a 5th percentile female.
The real answer? It fits kids under 5 foot tall (152cm).

Absolutely. I'm good for a couple of years. But my girls are growing like weeds! Hopefully they still fit. I'm still selling Lotus ownership as a practical "family car!"

She has good sense! So far no major scrapes or scratches caused by the kids. I have added a scratch or two of my own, frustratingly, but that's ownership. The car just wants to be driven. So that's the tradeoff. A perfectly imperfect car.

Indeed - I can't imagine to many British ladies meeting that standard; and certainly not here in the USA. And...well you saw what happens when a big guy like me gets in! No bueno! I guess marketing at Lotus wanted it to be for "adults" but to say it fits most children would probably be a more accurate statement. I wonder if those that are buying an Emira will lament the lack of back seats? I love my family-car-sports-car. Though the Emira is gorgeous.

I love the fact that you actually tried to get people in the backseat! When I bought my Evora, my wife got back there (she’s 5’5”), and really was not comfortable. I’ve had the car over a year now and I have yet to try getting in the backseat. I guess actually it would be impossible now that I have a harness bar installed. Love the videos about your Evora, please keep them coming. And the best ones include Chicken Wing and Drumstick!

Haha. Indeed. Groceries that you don't want to get warm like ice cream. (Keep away from the engine). And small carry-on travel bags fit as well. I'm relishing the fact that my little kiddos fit in the back for now. Sometimes I wish they'd stay small forever.

you need friends before you use the back seats. but you have a lot of kids, I guess that counts. the evora 400 with the supercharger is my current favorite sports car. the radio is very bad though and i hate the cones and I hope the AC works on any unspecific day but that's fine.

The 400 improves on a lot of the series 1 shortcomings. I've yet to do a comparison to the 400 but I have a friend with one so hopefully I can do a side by side. Good news for you that swapping the radio head unit is quite easy. I will probably commit to swapping mine in the future. And it's the same process for the 400.

@@GoodmorningGoodnight is it? I changed mine about a year ago and remember having to take out the seats, the center console, and most of the dash to reach everything holding it in.

@@Blakede82 this is not what I was thinking. I'll look into it more. I thought the aluminum trim around the radio came off and then you could swap it...

​@@GoodmorningGoodnight If I’m remembering right, the opening under that piece of aluminum wasn’t large enough for the head unit and related brackets to fit through, and the cables at the back weren’t long enough for it to come out that way anyway. That said, it’s easy enough to pop off that trim piece and take a look. I have a 2011 NA model, and it’s possible they’d fixed or adjusted things to make this easier.
