I've seen this in videos on KZbin where patients share what it is like to battle their mental conditions. Of course, the ones who end up on channels like due to voices in their head have apparently lost the battle or were too delusional to realise what is going on. Risk being shot in the face or bleeding out on the ground just to try and make a better future. That's what these officers did, and you don't get the right to talk shit until you've done that. That's not even to mention the fact that comparatively, an average cop sees an average of 8-14 major life incidents IF they do the bare minimum 20 year career. I don't know this statistic, but I'm guessing post 1990 or even post 2002 major life event stat for military is maybe 3 at best (literally 1 above the average range of 1-2.) And another note, your chance of being shot during military service in a normal military job (not the safe ones like IT, I mean infantry) is most likely lower than policing. Very few servicemen who have deployed actually saw combat situations, maybe 4-5% or less (And this is referring to GWoT).

I legitimately didn't stop until the girl I was training told me my lips were blue and got the charge nurse involved..... Then everyone kind of insisted I went to the ER and they gave me multiple bags of blood and iron and told me I was severely anemic and that they were really surprised that with my iron and hemoglobin that low that I wasn't on the ground in shock unconscious. This cop literally was like "oh I got a injury that's really probably not life-threatening? Let me just sit this one out boys" Oh and my iron was so low that I've had at least eight bags of iron and I'm still on iron tablets. But yeah I was at the point where I asked if I could go to the bathroom and the doctors legitimate reaction was.... Can you walk? He said with quite a bit of shock. I stood up and the two nurses in the room leaned forward with their arms out as if I was about to slam into the floor. I just walked to the bathroom used it and walked right back. They went to grab me to help me back up in the bed and I just climbed up in myself and all of them were standing there just in shock. The human body isn't nearly as fragile as people think it is so it leads to things like this cop flipping his lid cuz he got shot in the hand...... I had a fractured ankle and I didn't get treatment for it and within 3 weeks it was fine. That cop could have stayed and helped, tbh I don't know why he didn't just run over the shooter..... One of my favorite KZbin channels covers the mass shooting that happened in Farmington. I live in Aztec, where the school shooter attacked in 2017, then last year, in 2023, in the city next to me, this happened. Farmington has people from all (a good amount) neighboring cities and reservations, including people from Colorado who shop here. This was absolutely one of the scariest events to happen in our town in recent years, he was graduating and he chose to change his life forever. One of the victims was my mother's co-worker's mother. He was targeting females. There were a lot of rumors and conversations on the local community crime watch Facebook pages. It was truly a horrific day. He had an AR-15-style rifle, 22 caliber pistols, and 9 mm pistols. He had access to more than 1,400 rounds of ammunition. They blamed mental health issues. Thank you for covering it Ewu. One of the only channels I search every other day to see any new uploads. I believe he was hearing voices that were accusing him of doing things to his sister and he knew he didn't. Instead of figuring out his mental health, he wanted to be ended by the police, but he never needed to take anyone with him. He will forever be known in history as a cowardly monster nothing more.

The main factors for violent crimes being committed are economic conditions, cultural factors, family conditions, and climate- even negative social environments, substance abuse, low self-esteem, and low self-control are all the top contributing factors to crimes being perpetrated. Mental illness is almost always an underlying factor is a false statement, that shouldn't be said. That false narrative you're speaking just continues to hurt people who have mental illnesses. What you're saying DOESN'T help the people who do have mental illnesses. “3% of violent crimes in a sample of 1,151 newly incarcerated criminal offenders were attributed to people with major mental disorders. In addition, 7% were attributed to offenders with primary substance abuse disorders.” So maybe reevaluate the facts you have on crime being committed, mental illness, and substance abuse.
