Never apologize for feeling emotion, we are all Human!!! Tarja's arrangement of this song is perfect and her vocals are stunning and sorrowful. As much as I love her in Nightwish, I love her even more as a solo artist

Tarja has made me cry many a time with such stunningly beautiful music and that voice. How much more emotional it must be for you with such an attachment and connection to the song. To me, the best music stirs strong emotional reactions and on that reckoning Tarja must perform the best music.

Thank you for doing this!❤ I can see how much this song means to you and I appreciate that you still had the courage to do it. Music is full of emotions so why shouldn't we feel it. I am sure you can see it but Tarja also poured her heart into this song. She has been a Metallica fan for decades. If you want to see, there are other good covers that Tarja did during this concert like Linkin Park's Numb and In Flames' Alias.

Not silly at all and no reason to be sorry. Cosmic, I love how vulnerable you are with your emotions and how much you share your life and thoughts with us. The power of music and how it stirs our memories from beyond and how it makes us so emotional is amazing, but can be heartbreaking at the same time. This was a wonderful version of this song. Thank you for sharing what this song means to you. Stay amazing! Melissa 🤘☮

Is sharing your feeling ever not awkward? You make yourself vulnerable and that is, I think, always uncomfortable. But, remember that all of us have felt that way, at one time or another. We're with you, we all understand, and we are al grateful that you have decided to take this journey. As for Tarja, I don't think I have ever heard her sing better. This was outstanding.

Oh, wow! I have not heard this version and I'm not going to lie. I fell instantly in love with it. There is something magical about a 'metal' song that is orchestrated like this--but then, symphonic metal is one of my first loves. (It was Nightwish that took my hand and took me from North America over to Europe and introduced me to so many other bands and subgenre's of metal.)

I really needed to hear this today . Thank you so much, Cosmic for sharing this and what it means to you, personally. The path through grief and loss isn't linear, and sometimes it just hits us out of the blue. Music gives us a safe space to feel it and express it. I don't know what we would do without it.

I know that when that day comes I will lose not just my father, but a part of myself as well. This song is also an incredibly emotional one for me for my own reasons, so i loved your reaction to this one!

Absolutely, and I think no one does it quite like Tuomas from Nightwish. His compositions have a way of connecting to the subconsciousness that can take you on an emotional journey, it feels like he isn't composing music, he is composing emotions

Thank you for this reaction, especially that it was so hard for you. It's amazing cover, Tarja did amazing job. I don't know what connection this song have with your father, but I understand how it is when you can't listen to music because of someone close to you who died. For me it's really hard to listen to all Metallica and Queen songs, especially Queen, because of my mom, she was big fan of both bands and she died 3 years ago... It's really painful for me to listen to these bands... Btw, I'm kinda new on your channel, now I'm new subscriber. :) If I can share with you one song that squeezing my heart every time I'm listen to it, I want to recommend song "Kowarete Iku Sekai" by band Girugämesh, it was japanese Visual Kei band (Visual Kei is japanese movement as music, fashion and subculture), this song is very emotional and I've heard it soooo many times, but it still get me every time... There is music video with english subs, so please, if you can and if you want of course, react to version with english subs. Oh, and it can be not your fault about deleted comment, KZbin bot deleting maaaany comments, so... You probably can see all deleted comments in KZbin studio or somewhere. Hey Cosmic, Apology NOT accepted, you have nothing to apologise for! You knew before this reaction started how it was going to affect you, we didn't and what we have witnessed is some one brave enough to pull it off. No need to hide, you spilled your heart out to the world on youtube, I know for a fact I couldn't do it. I have songs that affect me in similar ways, my way of dealing with it is not to listen to them. May seem a bit odd I know, but it is what it is. You have been churning out 2, 3 sometimes 4 songs a day, take a bit of time for yourself, take your foot off the gas. We need your quality, not quantity. Take care my friend.

Not a fan of this version, the instrumentation is good, but I think Tarja's emotional interpretation of the song and the emphasis on syllables is off for me. It is beautiful, but it feels like the emotional message is totally different At certain parts this version sounds pretty great, but at times it sounds meh at most, due to the above reason. The reason I don't give more credit to the classical instrumental portions of this song, is that Apocalyptica simply raised the bar sooo high for this song in that regard ps. my heart goes out for you in your sorrow, never be afraid to show emotions if they are genuine, which yours seem to be
