Hey guys just wanted to clarify that the Dominimon protection versus things like full metal, leviamon, etc. i described works in JP ONLY as of ex6. I was getting ahead of myself, so this will be the case for future formats, but currently dominimon cannot protect twice against these sort of effects.

6:14 not currently, which should be important information. this rule change exists in jp and for jp only right now. you cannot protect here again in the english format until the rule change applies to the english format as well.

aren't there JP rules that change the interaction For Dominimon/Leviamon? Taking away their separate removal abilities?

The change to leviamon was being able to activate multiple instances of the same interruptive protection against it. They changed it to where now you are able to protect multiple times.

I thought because Lilith gives the other digimon the effect to delete itself at EOT, it becomes that digimon's inherit/own effects for that turn. Would the source protection still proc given the game thinks the EOT deletion is naturally the Greymon's effect? I dont know if im explaining my thought process correctly. I guess essentially, can protection effects prevent the digimon's own deletion requirement? I thought it was only protection against foreign effects causing it's removal, not effects the game thinks it owns. Sorry if im causing confusion. I is confused myself 😅

You are correct in the that the effect becomes an effect of the afflicted target, so any deletion protections without the “besides your own effects” stipulation would protect the target

Doesn't the Gates count towards the 5 and 7 sources with different names include itself as 1 of these sources? Since it doesn't require the sources to be digimon or specific traits and it is a name after all. :D

How does merciful mode interact with 7DL's tucking effect? I keep hearing 7DL can interrupt the return to deck effect. Can you explain to me why and how?

So I saw a proclaimed "old" ruling that placing a card like beelz in play as a source of another card would trigger the "would leave the battle area" is no longer valid. Is that true or does that effect still trigger?

It does not trigger overflow, it does trigger “when Digimon would leave the battle area”

Can Domi still save on all turns effect if a Digimon DP gets reduced to Zero can it be still saved like by ruin mode ?

If i somewhat attack a digimon, and my oponent uses blast dna, what happens with the attack? Cos the regular dna makes a new digimon, i dont know if the blast dna makes a new digi or it's the same digi who recieves the attack (sorry for my bad english)

It works like a normal DNA, so the target of the original attack is lost and it "fizzles"

Does the demon lord egg let u choose when to.proc the reduction effect? Lile could you play 2 demon lords at a reduced cost of 8 each for instance, using 2 eggs per play? Or are they all.mandatory

Gate of Deadly Sins's inherited effect says "you MAY reduce the play cost", so it's not required. You could choose to only none, some, or all of the inherited effects. Additionally, if you have the 5 or more different named cards in the stack, you could have each inherited effect reduce by either 3 OR 4 cost for each effect.

If you use 4 gate egg s ypu can never have 4 cost reduction, its a inheretable eff ao the first egg does not give the play cost reduction

Greetings I have a question about ex6 lucemon can he evolve into the BT7 chaos lucemon with his end of turn effect.

he cannot because EX6 Lucemon digivolves into a Chaos Mode in trash, and while in trash BT7 Chaos Mode has no digivolution requirement that allows him to digivolve from a Lv3 Lucemon.

No not from when you play him out from sources. Only if he moves from sources to an area other than the battle area
