MAM. IN THE VIDEO YOU MENTIONED PLANET MERCURY AS A COLD PLANET , I THINK IT IS VERY MUCH CLOSER TO THE SUN AND RECEIVES MORE HEAT THAN ANY OTHER PLANET AND IS IT REALLY A COLD PLANET. HELP ME WITH THIS. THANK YOU,

+Bhagatam Karna Despite being closest to the sun Mercury is not the hottest planet, rather the hottest planet is Venus. Mercury on the other hand is very cold as it has almost no atmosphere to hold in heat and keep the surface warm and the temperature can drop down to minus 300 degrees Fahrenheit as well.

Ofcourse, in broad daylight, mercury is among the hottest planet because of no atmosphere the sun's rays are directly on the surface of mercury. On the otherhand, it is very cold during the night
