As soon as my stock is finished at the hydro dipper for my 10ga, I’ll be testing all of the turkey loads made over the last few weeks. There is still one more 12ga turkey load to come and possibly a 10ga heavy weight.

Awesome video, might us that one for spring turkey 🦃. I’m looking for a 2 oz TSS load. Every one I find are running blue data. 1 7/8 looks good to me, I wonder if the TSS18 will drive up the pressure?

I never had pressure tests for converting a lead load to tss. I would assume that pressure would go down as the stack height decrease and there’s more cushion to correct stack height for the tss. TSS is tough because no one wants to give information on it.

I have about ten different TSS loads I’ve worked up over the last three years. I would never run long shot on heavier loads. I always start with three shots with the lead sled and a pull string lol. Then I chronograph and pattern test at same time to round out testing. I run a lot more steel powder than 31 grains in my 1 5/8 oz load of TSS and that out of a 2 3/4 inch hull. I think moving to a 3” hull will be necessary due to the amount of shot but I’ll check the different wad types that I have that can handle TSS.
