You need to get you a TEXAS FLAG; and here are some slang words that are commonly used in Texas...."ya'll", "yep", "ain't","pardner","reckon", and the most traditional greeting, but not commonly used in the younger generation is "HOWDY". Just research them so you know how to use them properly. "AIN'T" use to be looked at as an improper word for "is not" or "isn't"but is now in the dictionary.

"Reckon" is fairly common in England, and I understand it's used in Australia as well. In the US, it occurs mainly in the South and is a bit archaic. My grandmother in the Midwest also said "reckon." separatedbyacommonlanguage.blogspot.com/2006/06/reckon-and-figure.html

Ciao scusa potrei sapere dove sei andata?

Can you transfer your grades from there to your home country?
@lukasherc96535 жыл бұрын
Good question! Yes you can, but it depends on the country and your home school. You have to ask how it works in your school.

You have a sense of humor and are adventurous, you will do fine in Texas. I lived in Houston for about five years. I met a lot of Russians there. They struggled, but made steady progress. The same will be true for you. Enjoy the experience, you will grow a lot in maturity and self- confidence. And make a lot of friends on the other side of the world.

Ha! Thanks for sharing your experience with everyone. You poor guy - nobody knows your country. I think it takes time to get relaxed and feel more confident in a foreign country. I am from the US, but I live in Belarus, so trust me on that.

slocad11 you just have to used to everything. Everyday is easier and easier. And of course my friends help me to make my semester better here 🙂
