Annie was so cute getting excited to see the visitor, following them around, and offering gifts. I wonder if the visitor was someone who had hand fed her. She interacts more closely with humans than the others and is very smart mechanically.

In case anyone missed that video screenshot, Annie was raised by the zookeepers when she was younger. This may explain why she interacts with humans more than the others. Cute

Annie is giving them a gift. Jus like cats and dogs do when bring mice or toys. They give us all they have to show us that they love and care about us.❤ I wish they had more toys to play with. I'm sure Annie is looking forward to another visit from her boy, lol, as we all are.🙂

Oh my! Annie is super excited about these particular zookeepers. She must remember them from the days she was raised by them. That is so special. Gentaro, in Kyoto, is the same way with the zookeeper who raised him. Lovely to see! ❤️❤️❤️

It’s so sad that they have to be locked up like that instead of living in an outside sanctuary and feeling like they’re still in the environment. Compared with ones we see living in the wild the ones living in a zoo seem depressed.😢

This is just their indoor enclosure, they have a huge outdoor area. And at least in the zoo they are safe from poachers.
