@@CodyFromCreativeGrandma Cody, I think you’re very brave to be taking up crochet and doing so on one of the social platforms. It takes a lot of patience to learn to crochet. I have no clue how you can work so fast on those baby blankets. Most beginners start with washcloths or other small projects. Your progress in such a relative short time is very impressive. As for education, yes it’s important but it isn’t everything. Some people will do anything to upset others, will say anything to make them hurt. It’s unfortunate.

Please don’t ever change or feel you need to apologize for anything-I’m always amazed at how much content you give us. Please keep doing what you do, and don’t worry about the negative Nellies. You have tons of loyal supporters who are not concerned about any of these petty complaints. Blessings to you both and to your mother!

He is doing a super job, and I know that you are enjoying having him around. Thanks for all your hard work. You’re tutorials are always easy to understand, and I appreciate that you repeat things because that is we learn\\ I hope your mom is doing well. She is so lucky to have such wonderful daughters to help her out when she needs it. I lost my own mother way back in the year 2000. He was only 77 years old.

Cody I love the happy mail you got, especially the crochet hooks. Glad you got some of the larger ones to use w/ the thicker yarn. Speaking of yarn, I love the yarn colorways sent to you. Dear Glenda, you don’t have to apologize for not replying to comments. I totally understand the time it takes to be a caretaker to an elderly parent. I was the caretaker for my mother who was 99 yrs. old when she passed last year. It takes a special person to take care of a parent and I know you are special. Also, don’t apologize for your education or lack thereof. I think you are pretty eloquent and I like plain English talking. I’m glad you and Cody received all the happy mail. You both are so deserving. Love you both.🥰

Glenda don't apologize for anything, we love you just the way you are. Mom is looking good, I hope her health improves. 🙏🙏 Cody you are going to love the Clover hooks. I was going to suggest these the other day when you were frustrated. I too am a tight crocheter and I found the Clover hooks slide through the yarn like butter. They really do make a difference. They are a bit short in my hand but it doesn't bother me. If that is a problem for you, get pencil grips at the dollar store and put them on the end. I am a perfectionist with a touch of OCD 😂 and I found that once I got over and accepted the fact that crochet isn't perfect, I was able to relax and enjoy crochet much more. Which in turn helped my tension. Hope it helps!

Cody, if you don’t have anyone in mind to give your baby blankets to, you might be interested in crocheting blankets for the Boggy Creek Camp for kids. Nancy from She’s Got Yarn 2 in Florida is kind of the “leader” in charge for collecting the blankets and getting them to the camp. The camp is for kids who have illnesses where they can be with other kids who have the same or similar illnesses. Like one week will be for kids who have seizures, or diabetes, or MS, or heart conditions. All the blankets are donated by anyone who wants to participate. 40” x 50” is the size they stress. Just a thought.

OMG, Glenda! You are the best. People who comment on KZbin channels or any social media just to criticize definitely need to look deeply back at themselves and their negativity. 😊

You are so precious. Need to be yourself. I enjoy your videos. I love to learn new stitches. You show them so easy. I like how you show them and explain it. Cody is so sweet.

I love watching your channel. You too are such an inspiration. When you went to your mother I thought it was your sister at first glance. They really look alike. So sorry to hear of people correcting you. This is your channel and you are you. That is what makes it so special 👍👍👍

I'm shocked and appalled about the level of some people. SERIOUSLY!!! I always thought you were and are very professional. Your tutorials are awesome. You shouldn't feel the need to explain anything. You hit the nail on the head. For entertainment!!!! Makes me sick!!!! SICK of the amount of haters on the you tube streets lately. Harassing pod casters. I'm so ticked off. I can think of about 5 podcasters that have been harassed. Block anything and anyone that gives you the slightest tinge of anxiety. Love you and Cody and your sister!!!! Miss her, being her back on next time she comes down.
