Cali is the PLACE. But yes, super pricey…but if you can do it, do it! Good Mexican food if it’s still there: El Tepeyac in East L.A. Good pastrami sandwiches and chili cheese fries: Johnny’s on Sepulveda in Carson. And PLEASE go to Santa Monica pier and beach!!! I Cugini (if they’re still there) in Santa Monica, good Italian food.
