And with no hybrid assistance whatsoever, just massive turbos, a ton of PSI, and tons of engineering put into the engine. And, you get that 1,064hp on 93 octane. Just bonkers. Like, the C8 ZR1 makes the C7 ZR1’s 755hp at around 4700 RPM… Like, GM was out for blood with the Z06. Here, they’re legitimately trying to kill every other performance manufacturer lol.

Yes Koenigsegg is the only V8 Mass produced that I can think of that performs better with normal ⛽ and smaller displacement of 5.0l to GM 5.5l 1280hp to 1064hp both rev high as well so great to see definitely for a turbo car

I never was a Corvette guy, but man do I love these new Corvettes! This one looks amazing! I'd take it in red or orange. I'll say this too, one thing I admire about Corvette is that is doesn't chase its past like every other American sports/muscle car and have a silly retro design. I'd love to have this car.

Great job young man ! Here's a thought on the ZR1, any turbo car has to have mufflers with non chambers so there won't be any resistance, I would imagine a set of aftermarket cats the beast would come alive on the sound. Since the manifolds and turbo is one peice. GM you did it Baby !

The C7 ZR1 did over 214 in low wing configuration.

I've been watching the Corvette since '63 Bonanza Cheverlot commercials. My sister's would get mad at me if I got on front of the TV when Little Joe was on. I would get even more upset with them if they got in front of the TV during the GM commercials, especially if they were showing the 1963 Corvette. My oldest brother bought a 1968 Corvette, 427, I think his had 390 HP. Black with red interior. It was a beautiful car! After the mid- late 70's government mandated choke down and pollution crap, I thought, well, we'll never see the HP of earlier year Corvettes. Never in a million year's did I envision that GM would one day blow the old Vette HP completely away! I don't recall exactly what the Corvette got choked down to, maybe 185-200? At it's low. Now look at it, 1064 HP! Wow, unreal. Great job to GM and the whole Corvette team! Wow. Thanks. John.

The new ZR1 is just wow.They knocked the ball out the park with that one. If they would have put Lamborghini doors on that car, that would have been the icing on the cake. Which i really don't mind at all cause we got us a American Super Car Now which is blowing alot of foreign super cars out the water like Maclaren, Huracan and even the lamborghini Aventador or the Ferrari SF90 can't touch it and it cost less.
