I disagree, in my opinion he only wanted to convey that all these acts of murder were for either financial gain or part of another scheme, or like the couple at the reception, was really not anything planned, that's the way it played out....he wasn't a killer that enjoyed killing, he really didn't have any feelings about it all. He did whatever it took to achieve his goal or take care of anyone that got in the way of his goal. He said he was and always had been into criminal gain and to whatever means it took to get what he wanted. Study some other serial killers and you'll find that the majority kill for pleasure....whether it's the look on the victim as they scream cry and beg for their life, or being tortured, or the exact expression gasping for their last breath. This guy is just a cold blooded killer without joy about it or remorse. Also the memory thing is real...hes old and just couldn't remember the little town down the road....im sure anywhere he has lived plus the neighboring towns or counties have all been looked into for anything that could match or tie to this guy.

I think what we just witness when Ed Edwards couldn't remember the name of the little town is not because he didn't remember , he dis associated from telling because he flashed back to another unsolved crime or murder he committed there , and didn't want to slip up and say anything that would expose him before he got the story straight in his head. Most psychopaths have impeccable memory , especially for the crimes they commit. The idea that he couldn't remember is suspicious. Need to revisit cold cases there in that little town of Doylestown.

I have floated the theiry on TH.... but I meam, it was such a random, isolated incidence that I truely truly believe a completely different t Version of events that many people don't agree with. But that's just me. But if this guy targeted his victims singularly, meaning he only abducted 1 person, then moved on, maybe I could get on board. But from what I've heard so far, this is not the case.... he usually killed multiple people in a given location during a spree. Teresa Halbach was the only victim in the county..... possibly the state. Why would he target her? As for motive, we don't know the Zodiac's motive because he was never caught, but Edwards claimed that he committed crimes for the attention, so it makes sense.
