As an Egyptian-American I really really want to see Egypt succeed and its good to see the economy is moving in the right direction but I dont know if building fancy skyscrapers will be enough to fix the countrys lingering problems like poverty. This isnt the first time Egypt built a "new city"

Well besides poverty Egypt is in decay. Fix the country to Morden standard let the economy boom from tourism like in UAE. No country has gotten rid of poverty yet. Egypt is in dilapidation. The new administrative capital and other mega cities will bring more investors, more job opportunities will be created and citizens who have been wondering on which businesses to venture into will have host of opportunities staring right in front of them. I'm Nigerian but I love what is happening in Egypt because they have discovered what other African countries are turn blind eyes on
