I hope this gets played in the locker room. If they don't want to play for the GM, or the coach, or each other... play for Sam! And Sam... thank you for being the voice of comfort my entire life. I don't know what hockey is without hearing Sam Rosen call the game. I'll continue watching every game this year to savor it until the end. Thank you, Sam!!!

One of the nicest men I ever met in my life and an absolute institution with the New York Rangers and Madison Square Garden forever. Unfortunately it's extremely painful to be a New York Rangers fan. We all know this. Sam Rosen is one of the few people in Rangers history that you know would never let you down. Thank you for all the years of maximum effort for a team that very rarely gives maximum effort. You'll be missed by all.

I was in the music business for 30+ years in NYC and met many famous stars. But, one time in Tampa, while I was killing some time a few hours before game time, Sam walked past me and I got so star struck that I could not say hello. I just stood there in awe. Sam Rosen!

I'm a Blackhawks fan but always loved Sam's play by play for the Rangers. He has a terrific, non cookie cutter voice and style. I remember him doing NFL games including Bears preseason games, but he'll always be most known and revered for calling Rangers games.

Shame that this team is playing like this with it being Sam's last year on the broadcast. Sam, you are one of the best to ever call sports and especially when it comes to Rangers hockey. Thank you for so many memories throughout the years. I wish Rangers could have done something special this year and won the Stanley Cup, it would have been a perfect send off.

I wonder if the Rangers' organization, or God forbid, national broadcasting companies, will ever discover that Molly Walker is a national treasure. In this interview we are seeing the torch passed from one generation to another. Not sure if Molly could ever do play-by-play but if she did then I am sure she would be fantastic!
