I hope Richard's family know how much he is loved. God bless you all ( his wife, in laws, daughter, sons, any one close to him.) I'm still watching reruns because he is such a dear man. I saw the originals too. Love is wonderful the second time around as much as the first . Thank you Richard Dawson.

If Dawson's Feud ran in CBS back in the 70's and 80's along with TPIR let's just say CBS would have really been unstoppable. But Dawson didn't do Feud in CBS until 1994.

+rangerdj1 I know that all ready, but Dawson's 1994-95 version was taped at CBS Television City. But I was referring to if CBS picked up FF in 1976 then ABC. Actually I heard the pilot of Feud back in 1975 was taped at CBS Television City. Don't know how true it is.

Today football would be the first answer. I wonder how I would have done with whipped cream as the first answer. This was 47 years ago. I hope the "kids" in these families are still alive and can watch themselves again. Great show. Gotten a little too risqué for my taste lately but still a fun game. Not that I am a prude, but this is a, uh, "family" game show, not late night TV.

Yeeeah. I used to think the feminist movement is pretty dumb, but when you see stuff like this you have to admit they've achieved a lot in the last 50 years. Richard Dawson kissing a 19-year-old and then saying "Wow I suddenly love this family a lot more" when she reveals her age. On public TV! Yikes. Not blaming the guy of course, product of his time etc.

What no one ever talks about is Richard was far from the only host that kissed contestants. It was fairly common back then, people didn't worry about it like they would now. Also, all the women that he kissed had been asked before the show if they were OK with it and most of them were. Those that weren't, he didn't kiss.

+Jason Unsell It's just you. Let me explain. If mainstream cable/satellite television, TV ads, mainstream magazines and their ads & the rest of the media said "gangsta" culture (invented by Jewish record label owners) was dorky, just like they do when it comes to white people and our culture, you'd think the same thing about "black" gangsta culture because basically you can't think for yourself and produce your own valid independent opinions. You are incapable of forming your own world-views and personality based from real life experiences. You let TV and Hollywood do all of that for you. So yes. It's just you. =)
