Happy new year everyone, I hope you all enjoyed this video. Games were ranked by intensity, craziness of the game, impact on the season, and overall drama. The order is so subjective that you could really put any game in any spot, so don't focus too much on where certain games rank. @@Rymann_23 because Ryan Zimmerman was retiring, the Red Sox made a huge late inning comeback to clinch the #1 wild card position. If it was at Fenway it would’ve been louder than Safeco Field. The nationals had been done for a while it wasn’t like they were going anywhere that’s why it wasn’t so loud

It's crazy how much better the atmosphere was in Seattle than the mighty Yankees. Maybe it's because the Yankees expect to be in the playoffs and the Mariners haven't been since 2001, but one would still think that a Yankees game would be much more exciting than a Mariners game. Excited to see what the 2022 Mariners have in store for us.

To be fair with the team the Yankees had which costs that much and the history of the team as a constant winner it was already a disappointment for them to be in a situation where they might not go to the playoffs. The Mariners played way past their expectations.

Because of how the season ended, it's easy to forget how good the Padres were early on. Their home games had a playoff atmosphere every night, and they were to me the most exciting team to watch. Unfortunately, their season fell apart and they were surpassed by the Mariners as the most exciting team. Those last couple of weeks, home games in Seattle felt like the postseason. It's too bad they just barely missed out, to me they deserved the playoffs more than both the Yankees and Red Sox. I hope they make it next year.

We (Toronto) had two more wins than when we clinched the 1st WC in 2016, and two fewer wins than what we won the AL East with in 2015. And still missed the playoffs. 2021 was hella wild

How about HOU at SEA 7/26/21? Houston leads 7-0 by the 4th I believe, then the Mariners finally take the lead on a grand slam in the bottom of the 8th.

I would've replaced the Dodgers-Padres one on #7 (even though I was there) with their game in September 29, where the Dodgers were down 9-5 in the 7th, and after a solo shot by Mookie Betts in that inning, they came back to win it in the 8th with four home runs, winning it 11-9. Great job in this video.

i also use the term “the chad green games” for three of the shittiest losses of the season: Lindor 3 Homer Game, Altuve game winning home run in NY, and Altuve walk off home run in Houston. All 3 were off poorly timed flat fastballs.

How is Mariners vs Astros July 26th not on this list? Mariners were down 7-0 in the 4th inning and came back and won with a Dylan Moore grand slam in the 8th inning. I was at that game and it was the best game I’ve been to.

As a Braves fan you definitely chose a good one, but the ATL vs. SD game on Sept. 25 should have gotten an honorable mention. SD goes up 3-0. Braves tie it by the top of 5th. SD then hits a Grand slam in the bottom of the 5th to "blow it open," but Braves score 4 in the top of the 6th only to fall behind again by 1 in the bottom of the inning. They tie it on a 2 out single by Rosario in the top of the 9th against Melancon then win it in the 10th with 2 runs (10-8). It gave the Braves breathing room in the NL East and effectively ended SD's season.

Giants vs. A’s (June 26) should’ve been in the Top 10, it was a thrilling game, especially the Curt Casali walk-off in extra innings. With that win on that day, the Giants were the first team to reach 50 wins in the regular season at the time from that victory

As an angels fan, that Yankees game easily made me cry, every single time. It was such a frustrating night especially for sho when he allowed that 7 runs in the first inning, and because he was batting for himself as a pitcher, maddon made a tough decision of pulling him out of the game. When they made a comeback with that grand slam, i fell on my knees. It was so emotional. We even won the game 😭 oh baseball is such a great sport

This list seems to reward super high scoring (even when it’s due to defensive errors and bad pitching) over pitcher’s duels. I just don’t get that at all. Two of the best games played all year were Brewers Giants games in Milwaukee where scoring runs were so difficult and the pitching staffs and defense were locked in. True nailbiters!
