Hi Friends, Bryan Johnson here 👋. My health habits were terrible as a kid, I martyred my health for twenty years as I built companies, and I was chronically depressed for a decade. So after forty years of wearing my body down, my biomarkers are now in the top 1%. I openly share all of my learnings and data with the world, hoping that it will help others out. Wishing all of you the best. Top 1%: Speed of aging (epigenetic) Top 1%: Muscle mass & function Top 1%: Fat mass Top 1%: Inflammation Top 1%: VO2 max (cardiovascular) Top 1%: Bone mass Top 1%: Sleep Top 1%: Combined clinical markers

One thing he promotes a lot that wasn't covered here (and what Bryan considers to the be the most important thing to longevity), is quality sleep. He has said in many different videos that's more important than anything else. His top 3 things are Sleep, Diet, and Exercise. Those things alone will probably get you into your late 80's.

Like hey you might go through some incredible pain but we might actually be able to reprogram a significant portion of something notably viable. But you might also get cancer and die such is the risk reward if you want to push boundaries.

@@schlachsahne884 Interesting. You could have turned this into an intelligent and respectful debate, but you chose the internet troll route. Not the path I would have taken, but to each their own I suppose... I would suggest re-reading my comment. I said it might be feasible. In other words, I made no claims to certainty because that would be impossible. However, I have worked in the IT industry for 20 years as a software developer, and have seen the incredible amounts of advancements that AI has seen in literally just a couple years. So I have a bit better of a perspective of where things are going than the average Joe. It occurs to me that you are one of those people that desperately fight against AI regardless of how it is used. So any time anyone even utters those two letters in even the slightest positive way, you have this unsuppressible urge to start shit with them. Hate to break it to you, AI isn't going anywhere, it's going to be better than you at everything you do, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. You can either embrace it and benefit from it, or be left behind. Your choice, I honestly don't care what you do. Also, I care little for your opinion in general since you have already established yourself as an internet troll. So feel free to type up your response (I'm sure it's going to be wonderfully eloquent, and filled with as much insight as your first response), but I will not be reading it. So just know ahead of time your efforts will be wasted. Not because of a fear of conflict or anything like that (I have no issues with that), but it's because you chose to be dick with zero prior provocation. So next time, be respectful, and you might actually get somewhere.

Thanks Mike! Always a good laugh. Question: you often say seed oils are not bad, but do not address why others say they are bad and I was wondering, would you please expound one day for us? Cons: 1.Inflammation: High intake of omega-6 fatty acids relative to omega-3 fatty acids can promote inflammation in the body. Modern diets often have a skewed omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. 2.Oxidative Stress: PUFAs are prone to oxidation, which can lead to the formation of harmful compounds when the oils are exposed to heat, light, or air. 3.Processing: Many seed oils undergo extensive processing, including refining, bleaching, and deodorizing, which can strip away beneficial nutrients and introduce harmful chemicals. 4.Trans Fats: Some processed seed oils may contain small amounts of trans fats, which are harmful to heart health. Thanks for your time, whether or not you do see/acknowledge this.

5:37 yes, BJ is doing 'a smorgasboard of things', meaning you cannot scientifically pinpoint what extended his life the most through seeing his results alone... but him and his team researches each individual life-lengthening addition to his routine by reading scientific papers or studies that DID do the research scientifically (with the control groups and correct sample sizes, etc.) and found results that favour the idea that it will lengthen one's life in one specific measure. Sure, maybe there are different, unexpected things that happen when doing them all in combination as a side-effect, but given the specificity of each addition and the specific part of the body it targets, I doubt there's much overlap with the effects of the things he does (like that tearduct massager lol). tell me if I'm wrong though! open to debate

Bryan seems like a nice man. Getting fillers so his face doesn't look alarmingly skeletal is a bad sign imo, butbhe does have a lot of evidence to prove me wrong. Even if he is right about everything I still wouldn't follow his program, I want to get old and die sooner than later. But some stuff in the mix is all good, intermittent fasting, getting good sleep and exercise, eat well, etc. Those things help you enjoy the time you have. He says he loves the program, so good for him, but I'm all set on ever going that hardcore.

@@noahbraga1665 That's just false mate, I've seen his body prior to all this and if you're claiming he reversed all that just in eating kale, doing some stomach crunches and sleeping then you're living in cloud Cuckoo land but you've done two things in your comments, completely nullified his supposed benefit to anyone because of how simple it is and you've proved indirectly that by ignoring the custom sleep mask, the hundreds of pills he takes, the team of scientists and the millions a year in equipment costs that you're more emotionally tied to this then scientifically because it's science aids with a light infusion of basic health care not the basic healthcare itself. You don't need it to be healthy but you do to get his results.

Most longevity people don't look great. Which should speak for itself. But there are some honest things that MIGHT be worth thinking about. Like long periods of fasting (48+hrs) probably do a lot to make you healthier. But fasting may deplete certain fat stores we haven't seen depleted in wealthy people in generations. So it might look weird to us. Most rich people don't have sallow cheeks from starving. This may be a fairly new thing to human society. So it's worth considering. Maybe the healthy people of the future won't look optimal according to our old genetic senses.
