Something I thought was kinda cool. You can use the piece they use to cover the fan hole as a grill on top of the fan.

Asian slave labor is where all their profits come from. Pay a "worker" $1 labor for assembly but charge the customer $100 for "ease of use and convenience."

These are definitely my new go-to affordable platform for just having fun! There's something super comforting when driving knowing you won't be buying parts when you're done.. and that's exactly what these are for. No, not as fun as say a 4S or 6S Arrma, but I think these will be my "ol' reliable" vehicles!

Hell yeah great video! I couldn't decide, so I ordered both, lol! Got the Vorteks for $107 with a coupon code and $20 Tower cash. $257 for both trucks shipped!

Excellent video! Thank you for this. Was torn between the two, but went with the Vorteks. It will be here tomorrow. Kids are excited! They really love the Gorgon, and I’m happy to see these are built on the same platform. This will be our second RC. We just got the Gorgon a few weeks ago.

I bought the Gorgon for myself and my nephews last year and like you said, tough. This year the nephews get 2 to pick from and talk about a tough choice

I saw the Fury (RC Saylors) and I like it. Saw you hitting that jump - not really what I would do, maybe like a ramp across a little ditch. But seeing you do the ramp.. it'll definitely handle the type of jumps that I have in mind! Just the fact of when I'm going to order.

I already have a few trucks like the arrma typhon 3s and kraton 4s axial Yeti 1/10 Scx10.. but these are looking good to me should I buy or am I going to be left wanting more??

Do it! Can add brushless later for cheap. Surpass 3900kv would be great and cheap for these! I ordered both YOLO!

I just ordered the ultimate 1/16 basher. Off brand legendary 1/16 brushless sonic. Great reviews supposed to run 35mph on 3s we will see. I got it on sale originally 200$ I got it for 46$ on eBay at a used warehouse sale still new in the box the seal was cracked that's it.

Basically tabs to make them easier to grab with the fingers. Like a pull tab

Threw a $35 3674 3500kv amazon motor in my gorgon. Swapped the wheels and tires from a granite and man what a truck! 2s ultra torquey!

Proline/protoform has a sct body that doesn't 'parachute' AS bad designed just for short course trucks (sct). Comes painted (+$60) & clear ($35). I used them when I ran sct classes awhile ago. Could see the difference in the air.

But, question is how to make any aftermarket body work with the original gorgon design.

Get the long wheelbase chassis for the Fury and connect to your Gorgon front end and back end. Then with some trimming, most SCT bodies should fit. The only downside is the ground clearance will be lower, however traction rolls will be reduced.

Also, the body mount set from the Granite fit the Gorgon.
