Tom Hunting is probably the most underrated drummer in thrash.

You're right, he is among all my time faves, he is a beast and very technical and precise. His sound in the Fabulous disaster album was perfect, that's when I found out and fell in love with his playing.

Tom's drumming overall in Exodus (but especially since Exhibit A) and Paul Bostaph (the 2 Forbidden records + Shovel Headed Kill Machine) are some seriously underrated drum performances.. Intense, groovy and even technical at times (especially Twisted Into Form's cymbal work) but always kicking ass as #1 priority!

I'd just want to hear some Dukes-era songs (only shorter) with Zetro on for their next album.. Beyond the Pale, March of the Sychophants, Bedlam 1-2-3 (minus the shitty intro), Children of A Worthless God etc. are all epic with grander arrangement/harmonies etc. while staying true to the crushing riff marathon style of Exodus!

I considered going to Hamburg to see them. I live in the UK! Settled on Manchester as a little more practical/affordable. I did see Static-X in Hamburg last year - shortly after not seeing the date in my hometown! Definitely going to see more gigs in Germany in the future. \m/

@@lightbringer741 Dukes was badass and he got royalty screwed by his bandmates. I love Exodus but man to be on your Honeymoon thinking you are doing great in a badass Metal band starting a new beginning with your new wife and you get a phone call by your drummer saying that you are out. I lost some respect for them after hearing what happened to Dukes. The latest album Exodus put out was good but Dukes albums from Shovel headed to exhibit A and exhibit B are some of the greatest Thrash metal I've ever heard. They let Chuck Billy who is their Manager talk them into getting Zetro back in because he said it will bring back the old school fans and sell more records. Very sad for Rob but I guess it worked. I guess Rob is happy doing car remodeling business making pretty good money. I do miss Dukes, he was just really badass and delivered the goods every time.
