Expanding industry in the upper cliffs - Timberborn Whitewater #9

It's time to get serious about the colony's industry! So far we've had just basic production for planks, gears, and steel. Now its time to start scaling that up so we can start building more advanced buildings and structures.
In this video I start to bring life to the upper plateau - creating a new small supply of water, planting new trees, and significantly expanding our plank and gear production.
Some where in there I also accidently flood the valley with Bad Tide! Apparently that new dam isn't fully immune to user error!

You can dynamite under your battery's hoppers for more potential energy

also the large water pumps are a godsend for the folk tails with this update. should really get a few of those, save ya some beaver jobs to get the same amount of water, and they go 4 deed instead of just 2 like most folktail things

yes, water pumps will continue to pump until the water reached 100% contamination, as the contamination % increases, the efficiency of the pumps decreases.

And that 2nd water source at the start can help flush the contaminated water faster downstream.

Nice. I like the stairs cut into the cliff. So could you run excess fresh water into the bad water for more power? Also if its thinned out enough could it help extend the green?

shouldnt have put extra depth to that pool you started to fill with water up top. you couldve done some water farming with how it was, now a good portion of it is too deep

That's a good point! I don't have any of the water farming going yet. The good news is that it's not too late: I never did detonate it and ended up taking the TNT out in the next episode.
