I was married when I built a house in the Philippines. We got divorced after 14 years of marriage, so I always tell people: DON'T buy real estate in the Philippines! NEVER! You can't own it and if something goes wrong with your relationship, you lose it! I spent p5M building my house and that was 20 years ago. Buying that same land and building that same house would now cost you at least double! You can rent a very nice house for p25K/month. That means you can rent for 400 months or 33 years before you reach the amount of p10M. Be wiser than me and learn from the mistakes I and men like the one Gio described in this story made!

I have a question about Filipinos. Some Koreans who do business in the Philippines are doing KZbin. They show images of poor Filipinos in the video and ask for help. And Koreans extort donations. They also help to approach women for sexual purposes. A Korean woman in her 40s who does KZbin in the Philippines also extort donations and bought a foreign car. The donation bankbook is still hidden years later. She even threatened not to return the money. The Filipino woman eventually died as her condition worsened. KZbinrs who do business pay their Filipino employees to dance. There are many Korean KZbinrs who ignore Filipinos and manipulate them with their money. What do you think of them? Why don't Philippine broadcasters cover this bad behavior? Koreans with normal thinking skills are very offended by these KZbinrs.

Ok, I'm 2:11 in and I'm stopping! The story isn't going to be anything I haven't heard before. Guys, if you're middle aged, balding and obese from years of not working out and drinking beer and you're going after some pretty 20 something, let's just say I have zero sympathy for you. Even if you're young, work out, have a body like an Adonis and have tons of money, there's still the language barrier. Part of getting a woman to love you is with your words. You're wooing her. You can't woo her if all you know is, "You're pretty" and, "I want sex!" hahahahahahahaha!!! When it comes to stuff like this, you need to be BRUTALLY HONEST with yourself. If you're 58 years old, 5'9", 240 lbs, balding and look like you're about to give birth, I don't care how much she smiles at you. She's only after your money!!! If you're fine with that, cool.

Wow, I will say this I’ve been with my wife for 12 years, married for 10 years. I was on a dating site, living and working in Kure, Japan. I was talking to a bunch of women in the Philippines. I received a message from a woman in Fukouka, Japan. So I looked at the site and changed the parameters to just Filipinas in Japan. So I started talking with my wife, she was literally a 20 minute drive from I lived. So we spent almost 3 years together before moving to the Philippines. We did multiple trips to the Manila area, which convinced me that I wasn’t going to live there. The point is Filipinas are everywhere in the world and there may be a Filipina near where you live and you could get lucky like I did.

I have experienced that many times where I meet a filipina and she starts with the I am hungry bid, or I need something bid, and I can see right through it. Then if I am involved with her and few months after she starts stressing me, then the first time she stress me its a red flag that she is trying to get you to do something for her and she will take it to the extreme to the point she will threaten self harm. She is not gonna do it. Its just an extreme manipulated attention grabber and believe me, they would not have survived this far if you were not there...its all part of the manipulation game. You would not believe how they are living ...practically better then you... hahahahahaha. Heed all the warnings signs...if it is starting to stress you the first time. Leave and say good bye it will not improve but get worse. Mind you not all...but you really have to be very cautious and know the signs of a good honest girl to a scam manipulated girl. Thanks for the video.

Asians in the mother country, a lot of people are all about $. Life style revolve around sales or scams. Imaging living a life constantly having to look over your shoulder. Don't ever send money or buy real estate no matter what they say. The most stupid thing you can do is letting them be the owner, but you pay. Unfortunately, they considered it as a gift and not a loan. If she does love him. She will never ask for money. In traditional culture, women will not ask for money. Only the last 30 year's that this happens because of the bad men that cheat, multiple wifes with kids and not taking care of their family, leaving the women traumatized and no money to care for children. They are unable to trust men in general unless you can secure them with money. These experiences have changed the mentality of women since 1980. I have seen a lot of cases in my life. I am just sharing my thoughts but there are people out there who are willing to do it knowing the consequences and are willing to take the risk.

It's simple never give what you can't let go of, you only spend or send what you don't need. You have to take care of you, nobody else will and nobody else is required to. With just a couple years of life left, he has the emotional strength to make a difficult choice and start over. Respect. She wanted to show him off at her town. That's the reason it mattered to her to go to the festival. At her age, she doesn't fully understand or believe when he tells her his serious medical diagnosis. Or, to understand fully how time works. You make this point early in this video. Unlike some who over-invest and it's not a real relationship, this one apparenlty was. The father of a friend of mine made a $2M mistake...twice, with successive 2nd and 3rd relatonships that didn't last long and, in retrospect, a bit schemed. The "we're superior" crowd in this discussion should stuff it. He made some judgement errors, and isn't dwelling or angry. Just moving on. Good character.

I believe you're an honest man with good intentions but your advice and observations while heartfelt were highly optimistic and not grounded in the reality of life in the Phillipines. I was only 20yrs when I arrived in 78 but I talked with men who had returned from the Phillipines. I listened and learned. I made mistakes not traveling throughout but around my home in Angeles City. I have a gut feeling she started the fighting to break off the relationship. Perfect timing, too. Right after the house was finished being built. Odds are the family is too poor to be able to keep the house and will sell it for a fraction of its worth. This story reminds me of the guy who had a house built for a Filipina he thought was going to be there waiting on him. She would send updated videos of the progress of the house. The guy decided to show up 10 days early to surprise his girlfriend. He knocked on the door of the house he thought he paid for and some Filipino guy answered. They talked and the guy showed the photo of his Filipino girlfriend. The Filipino recognized her and told him he recognized her. She came around a lot taking videos and photos while the house was being built. It was at that very moment he realized he lost $35k. If f@cks, floats, or flies always rent. At least you would get some return before leaving. Stay thirsty, my friends.
