Greeting is very important in Ghanaian culture, it is one way to know your neighbor doesn't have a problem with you. Our mothers and fathers wake up everyday to go greet their neighbors before they even eat, it is also a security thing, if you greet someone, it is like you making them responsible for your safety, very important to greet in Ghana.

Hey Tony. Small point nit picky point but one I've learned watching these expat KZbin channels. Don't call African countries like Ghana "third world". Seems the term to use is "developing". Third world is not offesive. It reffers to countries (Asia, Africa) not politically aligned to the USA/first world & the soviets/second world. Because the soviet union is non existent & many 3rd world countries were/are economically poor, and non-industrialized, it became a stereotype to refer to poor countries as 3rd world countries Ppl just need to be educated
@MrOu834 жыл бұрын
@@eagleeye3715 - After all that, Third World, no matter the origins of the term, implies poor, underdeveloped, etc. If they find it offensive, use the term they prefer. Period.

Leo will be fine. There is a lot of grit you can find in ghana or make freshly... Ekwegbemi(Grits) was my favorite thing to eat growing up and still...😊

Thanks for the tips! I'd like to know what you use to guard the children from mosquito bites and the possibility of malaria? Is it true that children under 5 cannot take anti-malarial drugs? What are some alternatives? Congratulations and best wishes on your new journey!
