Youre not really supposed to pumo it with that lol. I got the xl single - 80x30 x4 and it has the same thing. Ive done it with that pump out of curiosity and it takes maybe 10-15 minute, you can go faster, just depends on the room you have lol. But they are 100% worth the price. Whether you get exoed, thermarest, rei, sea to summit. This design of pad is the shit 😂

No matter how badly I struggle to stay asleep on these noisy 2 inch wide, I just don’t know that I can justify spending $300 on one of these babies. Really want one though. 😩 Maybe if they ever make a more compact version for backpackers!

Rei is having a sale on all exped mats right now. The single wide version (long + extra wide) is less than $200. Which is still a lot. But it’s one of the best reviewed mats on the market. I couldn’t resist. I picked one up haha

Wait I can’t use an automatic air pump with this thing? I’m not paying $300+ to spend 20 minutes pumping this dam thing

if you want a similar setup for backpacking big agnes makes a tent floor pad that packs much, much smaller than this mat. same cost and still large for backpacking, but worth it for cuddles without a gap in between you can and will fall into

I can't see myself spending that much on just a sleeping pad. I bought a folding mat from Walmart for like $40 and it's very comfortable.

You get what you pay for, if that $40 mat is comfortable for you, more power to you, but it’s not comparable, you don’t see yourself spending $300 but there’s a large demographic that does and why they’re the #1 in all reviews. It does come down to affordability, but that’s why some people buy Ferraris and why some people buy Hondas. Everyone is on a different level.
