New Jersey is nice in its own way at least though. You can see Manhattan from many parts of Jersey and it has nice beaches. Washington state is gorgeous though.

As a Seattleite, I loved this program. A lot has changed though. Best of all we tore down that elevated double decker freeway that used to go along the waterfront, replaced with a tunnel. New public spaces and walkways have been added. However, the past couple years have taken a toll on our beloved city. The pandemic, homelessness, and strife over racial and policing issues have left a lot of damage behind. It may take few years but we will rebuild and get back to the city we all love so much.

@@maryamhamze761 where will you be living? I’d say go check out the smaller neighborhood places before going to the big tourist spots! The new light rail makes getting around very easy!! Definitely be prepared for rain, and cold, but spring actually is very nice especially in April and may! Definitely go visit the University of Washington cherry blossoms!

@@maryamhamze761 to be honest no neighborhood in Seattle is cheap. Living here is very expensive, especially living with Seattle city limits. Living outside in cities like shoreline, or Lynwood up north or tukwila, or Renton down south is cheaper but the commute to the university is longer. I would probably stay in the dorm, or you may be able to find a student Apt close to campus, many people are willing to rent to college students

Seattle is one of the most expensive places to live but this is my home eventhough our family moved away. I took it for granted when we lived there. I pray that God bless my family to move back. Its heart breaking being away from home. One of the most beautiful place in this country. I love water and mountains. No city I have found like Seattle.

I live here and I'm never boredTheres always something to do, in the winter getting trees, going to the summits hanging around downtown looking at the lights, in the spring and summer going on hikes, going down to the farmers market sampling the fruit, going the the ferry, run around green lake, paddle boarding and kayaking on lake washington, summer music festivals, concerts in the fall the leaves turn so beautiful, and when all the leaves are gone it doesn't look ugly because we have so many evergreens, going to pick pumpins. there is so much to do i haven't even scratched the surface. seattle is an amazing city, it may be boring and depressing to you and thats your opinion but its anything but hideous.

I was born and raised in San Diego, but Ive always wanted to visit Seattle. Finally going next week and I'm super excited!! Renaissance Man Just got back from a 3 month student exchange in Paris. It's not an Islamic dump, rather, the sensationalist news coverage has blown the issue way out of proportion. Easily the most beautiful and culturally rich place I've ever been to. I should point out that the presence of muslims has barely changed at all. Paris has always had a large Muslim population virtue of its close ties with North Africa.

Most of my fam is from Woodinville/ Snoqualmie and Auburn. My grandparents used to live on Queen Anne Hill, years ago. I don't live in Washington, but I absolutely love Seattle and the Pacific Northwest when we do visit. Love the greenery and feel of the Pacific Northwest. I highly recommend visiting Seattle! Check out Portland and the Washington/ Oregon coasts as well! Cheers!

My favorite thing to do on a summer's day is start at the Space Needle and walk along the water front (Alaskan Way) all the way to Pike Place for Lunch, and then down to Pioneer Square before walking back through the more financial district. Beautiful.

Thanks Monica. Wish I had watched this in July 2006 before traveling from NY to spend a week in the Pacific northwest. Skies were so clear and blue I could see 400 miles up into Canada from half way up Hurricane ridge with polarized sun shades on. I've only been there twice and want to go back and do it again. Had such a good time I smashed up the rental car. No tickets were issued, insurance said it was a 50/50, my liability coverage paid all damages with no deductible and without raising my rates, and Hertz gave me a free upgrade to a loaded Pontiac!!

One tip for people visiting Seattle, you have to get Ivars, wether it is normal clam chowder or Ivars salmon house (Which is delicious with a beautiful view of lake Union, and you can even go there on your boat) you have to try it

The museum of flight definitely was my favorite attraction in Seattle, one of the best, largest and most interesting museums I've ever visited. You can easily spend a whole day there and it never gets boring :-)

+Lola Semone you are so lucky.is super awesome.im in love with that city.that northwest area is super beautiful.i took the ferry across from Sequim to Seattle,went we were getting close to seattle on the Ferry i was like no way the gorgeous city.we went to some mexican restaurant.wasnt good at all but who cares i was in seattle

okay the name of the restaurant is Mama's Mexican Kitchen is on 2234 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121.no bueno.the waitress was so horrible took for ever to took the order
