Back in the 1950s my family and I went to Yellowstone National Park and camped out. It was in August and it was so cold we wore our pajamas under our clothes during the day and our day clothes under our pajamas. After a couple of days we left Yellowstone and traveled. Anyway we stopped at a store somewhere because Mom wanted to buy warmer clothes for us to wear. After that we went somewhere and saw the Grand Tetons in the distance. Wow, they were awe inspiring. Sorry I don't remember much but I was just a kid then but I sure remember Yellowstone National Park and seeing those grand Tetons in the distance. But this video sure showed me what we had missed. Fantastic. I'm a senior citizen now so I won't be able to make the trip again, darn it. Thank you. God bless.

Indeed. I visited last year summer 2020 during the pandemic. Outdoors it is easy to stay 2 meters+ away from people and is safe. Problem is for people in shut down states and countries to travel to where you can be there I suppose.

So I get that Expedia makes these videos with accessibility in mind, but if you really want to see the full beauty of these mountains you need to keep going past inspiration point, through cascade canyon and then up to Lake Solitude. It’s a full day hike but it’s also the most rewarding and beautiful hike I’ve ever done in my life.
@foxfoster14 жыл бұрын
How many hours hike is it?
@jeremyhndy4 жыл бұрын
Fox Foster 7-9 hours depending on your pace. This is if you take the ferry across Jenny Lake, you can choose to walk around the lake but that probably adds about an hour each way.

The Grand Tetons and Glacier NP in MT are the 2 most beautiful mountain settings in America (have been to all 50 states).
@DasnarkyRemarky3 жыл бұрын
I would include North Cascades in there as well. Those three are breathtaking for sure.
@jdhjimbo3 жыл бұрын
@@DasnarkyRemarky I lived in Seattle 5 years, and did several hikes in the North Cascades, and have driven the entire width of Route 20 through the region, and up into BC (the Kootenays and towns like Nelson are beautiful!). The North Cascades is a lot less traveled than the mountain regions to its south off I-90. I own 3cREI guides that list 50 hikesceach all over WA, so enjoyed many fine wilderness experiences. WA, OR and BC are my absolute favorite places in North America (aside from the stupid mess the ignorant politicians have created in both Seattle & Portland! Durkan & Wheeler are 2 of the worst mayors anywhere, and Inslee & Brown are lousy governors, too).

Hi Expedia :), Thanks for the best travel guide, I love your video styles more than others, the music, the filming, the explanations, the selection of words..... :) Just one thins, there has been alot of nature-theme clips from you recently, we reaaaallly miss the city-ones. I know it might be harder due to corona to travel into the cities, but there are 100s of beautiful cities in the world. Especially, I think it is great to have playlist for different continents and countries and increase the number of videos in each playlist (you already have these playlists, but videos can be increased). There are alot of cities in Europe (where I live) that are incredible and great places to travel.... Thankkks
