Experience Stunning Views At An Affordable Hotel In San Francisco!

A cheap hotel in San Francisco with epic views! But, is it worth it??
We recently stayed at this hotel, and it was quite affordable, right in the heart of downtown San Francisco, right on the edge of Chinatown.
The rooms have been updated and the staff was wonderful, and the views from our balcony were simply stunning! Looking to the north, you could see almost the entirety of the San Francisco Bay, with the Coit Tower, the Ferris Wheel on the pier, Alcatraz Island, Treasure Island, and a bit of the Bay Bridge.
If you love Chinatown, then this is a great stay, because you are within walking distance of the heart of Chinatown.
We did encounter a few issues that is customed to some older hotels. In this video, we chronicle those, but, are they bad enough to deter you from saving a few dollars, comparatively speaking to most downtown San Francisco hotels??

Never been to the Hilton across from China town (financial) but used to have breakfast at Le Meridian (nowJay). Got to love that price at Hilton including parking and views but yea depends how important the other things are to you. Good review.

The views from the Hilton room were really good, however when you're that high you really don't want the worry of the lift (elevator) breaking down. Good video!

The place looked awesome!! But looks can be deceiving. The restaurants looked great! Just milk with coffee 😂. Im glad the elevator went to the lobby and no one got stuck 😵‍💫. What a view from the patio! I really enjoy your guy's hotel and stay videos, very entertaining. The best part is when something goes wrong 😂. Im sure in the moment you guys gotta be frustrated but as a viewer it's really funny and draws me in even more. Great work you two 👏. I look forward to the next video, cheers 🍻

Thanks so much, Paul! Our Navy son is finally coming home to visit for a few weeks (with his girlfriend who is coming from Thailand) and out of the blue, he booked this Hilton hotel! I was like, okay, okay, it's affordable, but why didn't you ask me where to stay!! Our friend Carlos upgraded their room for us! How nice!

Aww, thank you so much! We stayed at our "default" hotel this past weekend, the InterContinnental on Howard Street, and their elevators are like butter! Smooooth! 🥤

Wait, hold on. You guys asked the staff at The Jay Hotel for milk and their response was, "No, we don't have creamer or sugar. We only have milk." I got a good laugh from that. Also, hard butter is a real struggle. Nothing is sadder than a piece of toast with that lump of cold, unspreadable butter in the middle.
