Yes, the homeless issues in San Francisco has gotten way out of control. There are a myriad of reasons why, but, I am not even broaching the subject as it's far too reaching for me.
I do know this. You can travel to San Francisco and avoid most of the homeless population, drug issues, and crime if you know where to go. Enjoying San Francisco doesn't have to be too complicated.

We were there, admittedly, for touristy things for 10 hours on our 12-day baseball trip in 2019. We did especially well staying at an AirBnB on the Oakland/Berkeley border that was perfect for taking BART. It was awesome. But THAT VIEW! Nice. Love world-class tapas bars. One of our favorite was in Chicago right off the Mag Mile. Spectacular. Locked...on...target...dramatic...pause... 🤣 At least Henry isn't a pickpocket. We never saw the homelessness issues when we were there, but the problem has certainly exacerbated due to the insane real estate prices there. It is so incredibly sad to see not only what individuals and families are enduring, but the fact that there is no end, or even leveling off, of the problem. Having worked with homeless people for decades, I can tell you I've worked with hundreds, gotten to know some of them personally. 99% of them were not a safety issue by any stretch of the imagination. I won't help every one of them, but I'm glad to buy sandwiches for a couple of them and give them - for a few minutes - something they rarely experience. Human friendship and community. MASSIVELY ENTERTAINING stuff, you two! 🤣

Wow, this is the best comment, and most complete comment, I have ever had ☺Love your detailed thoughts, and the fact that you paid attention throughout the entirety of the video, with specific references. As you may know as a creator, it's a long journey, and sometimes you get "down" or may feel "defeated," then a comment like yours comes around occasionally, and it can give you (or me) the "boost" that is needed to validate the hard work that goes into this whole process, and especially with THIS video because I took my time to try and deliver the perfect messaging with entertainment value. Yes, I have worked with the homeless as well, essentially, shopping for supplies for a local non-profit. I don't see an end to the situation in SF. It's too far gone IMO, so, we just have to navigate through it and show compassion while tip-toeing through the streets. A cross-country baseball trip sounds like something I would do. You're a Brewers fan, oh man, I remember the vaunted Harvey's Wallbangers of the early '80's! Cooper, Oglivie, Thomas, Simmons, Molitor, and Yount. I even had one of those plastic, replica helmets of the Brewers, and well, many other teams, as I collected them as a kid, those, and pennants, which I have adorned in my garage. Remember the twill pennants of our youth? Now, they're like plastic lol! Thanks again, for taking the time. 😌🥤

In the end, "Henry" was considerate! "He," along with my $40 went up to the 6th floor, and my $40 came back down, but Henry did not. Maybe "he" just can't look down 🤣🤖Thanks guys for visiting! 🥤

I love these hotel videos. I've thought about doing a hotel series...🤔. We always eat out but if there's no food in the area, your right, the hotel should have that. No coffee machine in the room is OK with me 😂, I've heard to many stories. Fun video, you guys! Great work.

Hey, thanks, Paul! We always have at the very least, one meal at the hotel we're staying at. Obviously, for content purposes, right? Since the pandemic, we are learning that it can be challenging to get a meal or a cocktail before 4pm in the city at the hotel, as we chronicled. We won't get more than one cocktail, typically, because, they're very expensive, and we have our own cocktails in our room! 🥤
