I wonder what the wash cycles are on this before you start to see wearing? Check to see if you can do a white balance correction with you camera. Usually you place white piece of paper and the camera should be able to make the lighting adjustments for you. Cheers.
@TshirtChick2 жыл бұрын
I have white balance cards and tried that when I noticed the issues. This has happened before I must have changed the settings by accident when packing for the Impressions Expo. I just have to go back and play with the settings again to get them right. I just didn't have time since I was trying to get this video done. I have not washed the shirt but I have seen videos that people say they washed and it stays the same. Maybe I can give an update in a future video. Thanks for the tips and for watching!

I tried this on a dark tshirt and failed miserably. I feel this is way too much work for the end result. It's honestly easier and better to just get a polyester shirt and sublimate on that rather than go through the entire dtf process. Or to sublimate on vinyl. Love your videos!
@TshirtChick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Neko!!I would just either do normal sublimation or just DTF on cotton but if someone is in a tight situation and don't have polyester shirts I feel like this is an option. Thank you for watching!

What was the time and temp for curing the powder, before pressing? Not sure if I missed it or just what.
@TshirtChick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lorie! I said the time/temp I used in the video but I don't remember what I said I would have to go back and watch but the time is kind of experimental with this being an experiment. I saw videos of a lot of different times and temps and just used one that I watched while I was in process of filming this video. Not sure if it worked because a lot of ink was still left an at one point I was having a hard time peeling it without issues in the video I showed.

Thanks with much appreciation for this wonderful presentation. Actually, I tried exactly what you did; that is to print with sublimation printer on dtf film, apply white powder, cure and transfer. My problem is that; I have vertical tiny ink lines on my design. Not sure whether it’s the rollers or not. Apart from the lines, it transfer nice after curing. Any advice? Thanks once again for the presentation.
@TshirtChick2 жыл бұрын
It could be the rollers but I can't know without seeing it. In Epson printers that are converted DTF printers you have to remove some of the rollers so that does not happen. If you plan to continue using the printer for regular sublimation I would say don't remove any of the rollers. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@daarajimedia.88612 жыл бұрын
@@TshirtChick thanks with much appreciation for the informative response. I will do as advised. In fact, I’m planning to buy a modified L805 dtf, but instead of using the dtf inks with the white, I will instead use the regular sublimation inks. That way, since the rollers are modified, it will easily pick the dtf film and print without that thin vertical print-line. The sublimation inks cures well with the white powder; I’ve tested it and works. My only problem was that thin vertical print line.

Can these films be used in my hp inkjet printer?
@TshirtChick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chosen! They should both work in inkjets. The transparency film is made to work in inkjet printers and will now work with laser printers. The DTF film will work in inkjets and is made for DTF printing this was an experiment that just happen to work not sure if it works with regular inkjet ink or not.

n the video I stated that I was using Transparency film NOT DTF film and I explained why. I already use Yamation DTF film I'm actually one of the first influencers to be an affiliate and work with them to advertise their products. I did a few videos several months ago unboxing some of their products. I also explained a lot of what I was doing and why in the video in the video.
@malmo542 жыл бұрын
The print method is not 100% just because the sublimation colors do not sit perfectly on the PET film.The result is a cracked motif and I don't like it.Anyway I come up with this idea already last year on some Facebok groups about DTF printing

Over 9K people have watched this video and this is the only comment with anything negative to say. I have been hired as a speaker for the Impressions Expo show which is one of the worlds largest and most known T-shirt trade shows so there is nothing wrong with the way I talk to anyone except you. If you are going to use words in a sentence you should at least know the meaning of them. Two of the words you used in your comment don't even make sense with what you typed and one word you used should have been capitalized but was not. It looks like you need grammar and vocabulary lessons. If my video is so unbearable you would have just clicked off that page and went to another persons video on the same subject since there are hundreds on this same topic. If it was unbearable at all you would not have been able to watch it all according to the definition of the word. I pray you have a good day and God give you some joy so you can feel better. Thanks for watching.

@@TshirtChick it’s not negative love. You not gonna say thank you? I won’t read all those 2 you typed but I’m just saying thanks for the video and giving my input. It was literally unbearable to watch for me because you ramble a lot and are jumpy.

@@scott8193 @scott8193 Unbearable means not able to be endured or tolerated. You said you watched the video therefore it is not unbearable or you would not be able to watch. You also need a lesson in comprehension.
