I want to maximize skin-to-skin with my baby. So in the first few days in the hospital, should my baby just wear a diaper + swaddle so we can easily do skin-to-skin?

This is so stressful for me 😅 I feel so blessed to have given birth in a private hospital (in my country that’s expensive, that means like 3-4 thousand dollars) and when I asked what to bring, they said “your phone charger and id 😄 I had clothes provided, baby had his clothes, they changed him, had nipple covers, creams, formula, hygiene products, showed me how to do everything, etc. I am soon giving birth to my second child and just knowing that I am going to a nice, clean hospital (my husband staying in the room with me) brings me so much peace 🙏🏻 I hope everyone has a happy and healthy delivery and hospital stay ❤

Our hospital provided little kimono style shirts which were super easy to take off. I didn't want the onesie to interfere with his little nubbin so I had also brought a kimono style shirt to go home in

Did you do the epidural or the local to help with the ring of fire? I had a failed epidural they forgot to connect last time I made it to 7 cm then caved an did it but I got the initial dose and 35 minutes after I had dozed off I woke up to a shock of pain 😂 the first thing the kid wife did was give me shots because id the burning my 2nd son I was 8’cm when I got the epidural but was in labor so long my obgyn allowed it because I was able to sit still and they were afraid I wouldn’t make it pushing because of exhaustion I had high hopes of no epidural this time with my 4th and final baby but I’m worried .. I know 4th time I would think he would fly out easy but that ring of fire ohhh my gosh I’m just so worried I won’t be able to push past it, because it was so so intense .

I somehow missed your comment, so sorry. I had an epidural which was great for my first three but with my last I was super stalled, changed positions then baby dropped which sent me from 6cm to fully dilated in about a minute so my epidural could NOT keep up. So I felt that burning pain for the first time. I still remember it 4 years later. No Joke! If you didnt want an epidural you could ask for something called a pudendal which numbs that perineal skin to help with burning pain. Did you have your baby? If so how did it go??

Reading the comments and I truly find some people a bit jealous of these COPYMAXS . I mean if you work hard, you deserve to treat yourself. And I truly find this video to be helpful. Yeah I get not everybody can afford one of these bags but, wouldn't one prefer to learn about others experience with the bag then waste their money on a purse. Like thanks to other youtubers reviews on a bag, I got one and I'm truly happy with mine. & thanks to you Diana, I showed my sister this video and she's now convinced to get the Louis Vuitton bag that she's wanted for so long! I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from HIDUPZ for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.
