The assembly of the lawn mower could be done without any problems kzbin.infoUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend I just puzzled something about the red strange “key”. However, it quickly turned out that this creates a kind of contact bridge between battery packs and lawn mowers. An additional backup as a father of a 1 year old nephew is great!! :-)

a good scrubbing with a toothbrush, then rinse thoroughly with soap and hot water. Sometimes a more heavy duty chemical is needed to remove the corrosion. Sometimes Coke works sometimes not, it depends on the type and severity of the corrosion.

Jeff thank you for the video, I repair mowers, more on the quick, cleaning out gas tanks and then carb cleaner and compressed air for the passages. The one thing I do different is rather than using wire I find torch tip cleaners with various sizes clear out the most stubborn deposits much easier. Also at same time I use the tips to clear the 3 passages and check flow to the bowl with carb cleaner to make sure the priming system should operate properly.

Excellent video. FYI, I've done both a rebuild and replaced the whole carb. Depending on your time and frustration level they both have their advantages. I once stripped the brass bolt so had to buy a new one. Another time I didn't tighten it enough since I was paranoid I'd strip it so gas leaked all over the place. Sometimes it's easier to spring for a whole new carb and just pop it in.

Working on one just like this cleaned the carburetor out and mowed the yard - had to adjust the governor spring . It ran great , but after I parked it gas ran out of filter- going to replace the needle valve and seat - hopefully this'll fix the leaking problem . THANK YOU! For this video. You have the same type carburetor that I have. My lawnmower wouldn't start and your step by step helped me to clean the carburetor and it runs beautifully now. Saved a bunch of $$$. My carburetor was clogged because I didn't put any fuel stabilizer in with the gas. I didn't need to replace parts but I did clean the little residue that was there. Where can I get the replacement parts? I used the floss brushes for using between your teeth to clean out the holes versus wire. Again thank you. 😊

Angela Myrick: You can get replacement parts at a small engine repair shop or if you have a Craftsman mower you can go to Sears. But if you can wait a few days, it's cheaper to buy them online. Jeff: My Briggs & Stratton 7.0 horse lawn mower will not hold an even idle. It starts out high, then drops to low, then goes back up high, then drops low again. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem or a contaminated fuel system.. If you replaced the original carburetor with an inexpensive cheapo aftermarket version that is probably the problem now.

Hi, New subscriber here. I followed your instructions exactly (except I bought a new carb and installed it successfully. It worked! It went on but turned off within minutes. This is the problem I was having before changing the carb. Any ideas why this is happening? Why would run for half the yard and then stop?
