I think the problem is that no one is interested in btc anymore. Now that it has received so much adoption and acceptance as a legitimate store of value, and governments are getting involved, the mystique is gone. The ETF may have been the worst thing that could have happened to Bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts in the long run. Linda Xie's strategy has been instrumental in helping me navigate the past few months.

A major disadvantage is that it depends on the Internet and the electricity as well. If there's no access to Internet => no Bitcoin advantage over something you really own. The point is bitcoin depends on 3rd party environment as well.

If the power goes out you wont be able to transact through traditional bank accounts either and holding large amounts of cash in your house is just dumb and it loses value. There are so many things that are wrong about Bitcoin and if you really analyze this video it actually points them out. Supposedly one of the main features is it's decentralized structure, and yet try to cash in your Bitcoin and see how quickly it's not decentralized. The vast majority of people that own Bitcoin and are not crypto experts do not understand how it works and this is one of the main problems.. it's way too complex for most people to deal with plus it's basically dysfunctional in terms of using it as a cash transaction system. I'm beginning to think this bull market will go a lot longer than expected. Sentiment doesn't feel like top market behavior. Many investors are still cautious. Technically that's all a hardware wallet does, but it's encrypted on that level too. If you want to store seed phrases as plain text, you should only do it on a brand new drive, fresh operating system, and no internet connection, ever. Has to be done fully airgapped.

Same here. I think people in our position need a hands on, step by step mentor to get started (for a couple of weeks?). Explaining how BTC works is one thing, how to interact with the process is something entirely another. WHICH EFFING BUTTONS DO WE PRESS!!!!!

Only thing is that 10 dollars is no longer 10 dollars after a transaction fee or network fee and market price that 10 dollars has now become $5.46 . Where as if owed someone $10 I give them $10 cash like for like no loss. All these bloody transaction fees add up.
