From my understanding the Black Rose is a society or a group of very powerful mages seeking to get stronger and build their group to keep a very dangerous mage or wizard guy in a realm. I'll try to make at least a little sense 🙃 - Why did Jayce try to murder Victor, and generally have an antagonistic atitude towards him, if he knew all along, that he was supposed to talk sense into him? Did Jayce in any way regret blowing Victor up? Was blowing Victor up always part of the plan? Or was his choice of blowing him up mostly a result of his ptsd + his mind struggling with shifting universes? If he had any regrets about it, that was never shown. - If Victor was the Mage who saved Jayce and his mom back in s1e2, and if he indeed saved every version of Jayce across lots of different universes, then how did Mage Victor come to meet Jayce from his own universe in the first place? How was Hextech even discovered if Victor wasn't there to save Jayce? - Why did Victor suddenly turn from wanting to help Vander at the expense of maybe giving up all of his dreams, to asking the doctor's help in erasing Vander from the monster's body? Why did Victor turn from genuinely wanting to help people (even if his "help" may have changed them more than they wanted to be changed) to turning everyone into mindless husks? I assume it had something to do with being blown up by Jayce, but Victor suddenly changing his mind is never really explored and it gave me emotional whiplash. - Why didn't Caitlin look for Jayce? They basically grew up together as siblings, but she doesn't seem in any way alarmed that he disappears for months. This seems very out of character for someone who just lost family. She also doesn't seem to care one way or the other when he suddenly returns out of nowhere. Literally the only person who mentions Jayce's disappearance is Ambesa. - Why did Caitlin in no way hesitate to cheat on Maddie with Vi in s2e8? Did Maddie even matter to her? That again felt very out of character for Caitlin who up until that point is a LG/LN character. - Why did Maddie betray Caitlin? She may have sensed Vi coming back into Cait's life, but being willing to kill Caitlin due to that again feels out of character. Or was she in service to Ambesa the whole time, and just waiting to betray Caitlin? And if she was in service to Ambesa the whole time, why did she in s2e4 advice Caitlin to relinquish her emergency power and restore the council? That seems to go against Ambesa's interests. - What was Singed's plan after being arrested? Did he plan on Vander releasing himself and the other prisoners? Or did he know Vander would likely murder all the other Zaunites? And did he plan on Vander releasing him from prison, or was his plan all along to get the attention of Ambesa and Caitlin? Did he think Ambesa could somehow help bring his daughter back? Why did he even attend the gathering at Vander's Statue in the first place? He doesn't seem to care one way or the other about Zaun's independence. And if his plan all along was to have Ambesa bring him and Vander to Victor, he could just have gone there himself. None of this is ever explained or explored. Sorry for the ramble, I've just thought too much about all of these things😅

@@Frir10 Point 2: Since his anomalies can cause time travel, it’s possible he saved his own Jayce in a stable time loop (bootstrap paradox)? Although those arguably don’t make sense themselves… Idk maybe I’ve watched too much Doctor Who Point 3: I think the speech at the end of ep 6 is supposed to explain this, and the visuals seem to imply he sees everything that happens in that sequence (Jayce shooting him, Ambessa’s vengeful attack, Isha’s tragic sacrifice) as proving that humanity’s emotions and passions will always lead to suffering, that to stop our “greatest evils” they must be removed - and he sees this as helping everyone by preventing tragedy, ignoring that it also prevents… anything happening ever Point 6: She was a spy at least since the beginning of her relationship with Caitlyn (iirc Ambessa has a line talking to Vi in ep 6 where she says Vi left a vacuum in Caits heart which she filled which I think is supposed to be a hint at this) (and “I did appreciate your warmth” implies the whole relationship was a sham imo) idk about some of her lines though, maybe reverse psychology? (Like the bit Ambessa says about forgiving while stoking the fireplace) idk tho …I thought I was gonna have responses to some of the other points but not really, sorry, I kinda hope it all does make sense and someone else comes and explains it but probably not tbh
