Explanation of Separating the Intercooler System MK6.5 Jetta 1.4T

I still have not had the time to do it myself unfortunately, but this is how it will be done for anyone that's wants to try this.

What’s the point of this ? To help the stock air to water intercooler a bit with another heat exchanger ? You tap into the coolant lines from the stock ic?

I have 1.4 tsi ea211, same engine. My boost is max 22 psi. When run up the engine manifold temperature is 40-45 celsius approximately on 200 km/h. If i setup the this Aftercooler system, what celsius will my manifold temperature? What are yours the manifold air temperature ?

You can expect 15-20° IAT over ambient temperature. If ambient is 85-95°F. In colder weather it runs about 8° above ambient.

Can't we just install a fmhe and separate the lines?

If you separate the lines what's going to move the fluid in the separate system? You need an additional pump.

The one I got was very well made, but it had the wrong size NPT'S so I had to rethread them it was a pain in the ass.
