They need a warrant to get your phone.its easy to say that's sloppy but if everything else is tight they'll never be seeing it(clearly in this case it wasn't though lol) And obviously never offer anything that would incriminate yourself. But its not always as huge of a thing as it seems. The real mistake was them not getting rid of the dudes phone immediately.she should not have even had to text them that in the first place.it's more like the people she hired were incompetent. I would have destroyed his phone and left it there at the scene lolololol.

Criminals tend to be lower intelligence and what they think is a full proof plan soon falls apart. These videos shows us how a lot of that happens, but for some one like a investigator they tend to see a lot more details than one lets on. The problem is you can't charge without hard proof and the best proof of a murder is a body and weapon. So he needed to get those two things.

the funny part is when she was describing them cutting the shirt from the top down, instead of starting down going up, I thought it was suspicious, I just thought she actually did it herself and never took into account how a second person would do it. and not that she didn't even bother to do it. why it's sus: it's easier to cut your shirt yourself from the top going down to apply the force of the blade opposite to you and against the fabric, but to cut it on another person is easier to start from the bottom to apply the force of the blade towards you and against the fabric with an extended arm, if you cut from the top you have to put extra strength because you have to contort your wrist.

Love this comment! I swear when you are being put under the microscope of the law, Anything you do is a " red flag". If you make a movement at a certain question it's a red flag, that you are experiencing some reaction to the question, which might indicate guilt. If you are not moving a muscle, you are " locked down" to avoid giving the impression of nervousness. If you continue to not move for 2 hours ( like the infamous Stephen McDaniel) they'll just keep trying to break you. ( which is why one suspect had actually died during interrogation without ever getting help, and another suspect had been shot in the eye and was bleeding into his brain and they didn't believe him!!!!!). If a suspect pretends to have been shot, it can be a red flag that they are trying to avoid questioning

@@kimberlygenell8970Not everyone cries over the same 'conventional' things, and some have a habit of not crying at all. This is especially true during times of trauma or grief. So I agree that the sole presence of absence of crying isn't a direct indicator of innocence or guilt. However, when someone has been in the 'crying stage' (i.e. sniffling, high-pitched & wobbly voice, uncontrolled emotions, etc.) for as long as she was, but hasn't produced a single tear or broken down completely, it's highly suggestive of fake crying. Rule of thumb is this: everyone's flood gate capacity varies by individual; but once they open, they tend to open wide.

Yeah, especially with the hair cutting part. She says a group of guys break into her home, pistol whip her husband, strip her, and then say something poetic like "here, as a wife you should have a piece of your husband" before cutting off a few locks of hair. That sounds like something a teenage girl would write in her fan fiction. I'm not saying no man would ever, ever say that because drugs make anything possible, but that doesn't sound like something a guy would do in the middle of beating a husband in front of his wife. They allegedly wanted money from HIM, but this gesture was entirely to intimidate HER in a particularly feminine and dramatic way. A violent male would be more likely to instead threaten to break fingers or stab someone to get the husband to cooperate, assuming they weren't willing to actually torture her in front of him. She didn't realize that in her made-up narrative she was a means to an end, not the primary target. She really seemed to think that'd help sell her story but it further broke any suspension of disbelief I might have had.

I'm surprised the narrator didn't point out that she specifically said one of the attackers was named Luke when first interrogated, but then when she started giving out suspects names in the interrogation room, she didn't name a single Luke. It's crazy how she loses herself in details; she's clearly rehearsed her story so many times she feels obligated to relay all of it to make sure she doesn't forget anything, but that's just not how someone traumatized and worried for her husband would talk.

The next day she was trying to give me the "I didn't deserve it" story. She acted out what she was doing before he "hit" her by doing it "lightly" to me. I remember thinking that kinda hurt even though she claimed she wasn't doing it very hard on me. I don't believe men should hit women but if a women gets into a physical altercation with a man & the only way he can get her off is to do it forcefully such as a push, shove, or slap then I don't blame the guy, as long as he doesn't continue after he's gotten her off him. She left the guy & started telling everyone how he hit her, leaving out the part about her hitting him. It also became evident in other things she did that she was a bit of a narsacist. Women like this are the reason truthful women are scrutinize so much & doubted when they claim abuse.

It was the "standard-issued" line that got him. Who actually says that to a cop?

@@JimiInTheJungleanyone who's been in civil service would say that--- the actual point is that she clearly got inflated ego and delusion of her position by that comment because she's never served in uniform

41:54 - oh damn, it's rare to see a detective just go in on someone like that, calling her a liar when she's supposedly the poor victim missing her husband haha. Love it!

Oh I loved that part too. Normally the cops are cosying up to the suspect, pretending to be their friend in order to get a confession.

It’s probably because she basically insulted cops as if they were the ones being sneaky because they brought up a polygraph test.

best thing i like about this is the fact that she lied with emphasis that the hitmen she hired were physically / sexually attracted to her but didnt claim they assaulted her "just stripped her naked" making the situation seem like they were glorifying her body lmao probs felt good abt herself with that fantasy

So they got her naked but then decided not to assault her? How grotesque is her body that violent criminals are turned off?? 😅

For real. Some parts of her story straight up just sounded satire/out of a cheesy law and order episode or mobster movie. On a brighter note the dogs reacting to the officer's radio was kinda cute.

@@DePeaceHunter no kidding. Thankfully she was nowhere near as smart as she thought she was. She probably spent hours rehearsing that fib and broke the continuity the second she opened her mouth.

Also the fact that her face lacks any sign of crying if she had been crying she'd have marks around her eyes from where she would had been wiping them away

I feel sorry for the children, who lost their father and have to live with the fact that their mom had him murdered. It is a bit of a consolation to know she won't be raising those kids, though. I hope they ended up with good care and a happy home.
