What has our society come too that we tear down such a beautiful home and fill up landfills to build something supposedly bigger and better. Humans are so wasteful. So much could be salvaged from this mansion. This thing was massive.

Beauty here. Seems to me they cheated out on the main staircase. I was expecting a more elegant one. Rumor has it that the guy who has the house behind wants the land to expand his property. Really hope these beautiful fixtures and furniture gets saved. Carlo, he's a character.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a place and to think it was set for demolition!! Looks pretty ritzy then as you do your walk through more and more damage comes to light. It does have a great many super architectural details but I always think these big places have so much wasted space. The bathrooms and closets for the bedrooms are nice. I'd love to know what the stones by the stairs were for. The stairway doesn't seem as fancy as the rest of the details around the house. The closet you wondered about by the upstairs laundry space was probably a cedar closet, so nice to have. Loved the circular opening and the bookcases around it on the second floor. Personally I could live without an indoor pool. The grounds and landscape were very nice. I would say that looking into the various 'maintenance rooms' you can see where a majority of the money went. Oops almost forgot to mention that garage - wow!!!

It is sickening that there are so many people struggling to keep a roof over their head, and here you have this incredible mansion that is going to be torn down and replaced with something else 😡😡🤔🤔 It shows how some people are so out of touch with reality. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into showing us mere mortals how the other half lives.

Just phreak'in wow. This house is just amazing!!! I love that black rock area in the floor. One would think, if you spend that much on a home (and likely your design), what would lead to having it torn down. If I would have the chance to build my dream home (Old farm house, on acreage, with all the animals) I would expect this to be my forever home. Love the Greek key inlay on the floor in the cigar room. Our modern world is just disposable, so sad. HAHAHA, ya made me laugh when you said "I must be getting old if I like sinks". Whoa, the master bedroom and bath, nice. LOL, Zay clowning. Oh geez, the downstairs party room and theatre. Thanks Jamie, Zay and Carlo with the cameo.

Now this was a mansion! Some nice features. Beautiful floors, ceilings and cabinetry. Bedrooms were small but closets were big. They cheaped out on the staircase. I think the indoor pool may have helped ruin some of it. Thanks for showing us that epic shit

UBJ Wow that is the as Marve would say on "Home Alone" thats the Silver Tuna. on a side note Wow isn't staff accomodation shocking bit like slave labour delegated to deep dark depressing areas of a mansion, given a shitty bathroom surrounded by their work place right next to a laundry, kitchen or right next to the boiler/server/water room, and that poor sod that lived in the studio not next to the lift but at the rear of the lift motor the door easily accessible in the studio so the onsite wait staff can repair the lift in their sleep 24/7. I wouldn't want to be helping out here for long

I wonder why the expensive flooring, cabinetry, drapes etc does not get taken out and sold. There’s so many people that renovate and could use great quality materials at a fraction of the price. It’s just extremely wasteful!
