What a shame that no relative's came forward to reclaim these antiques or anything in the home. Some maybe donated to a local museum as a historical antique items. The house is still in immaculate condition and glad to see no vandalism has occurred and not thefts. Someone needs to find out the next of kin to take over before it's to late. Especially with all those weapons/rifles

Wow, amazing Maureno and Remon!! Good to see and hear you both on an explore again. This house was a true capsule of its era. I hope the beautiful furniture and crystal ware has been preserved and found a good new home somewhere. Those grandfather clocks were stunningly beautiful and I have a great passion for clocks like that and they don’t make them like that anymore. Or the country has taken measures to preserve it for its historical contents. He may have disappeared of his own free will for whatever reason. This guy may have possibly been in the French Navy.

Not flint lock rifles, but ball, and cap. The cap was like a primer. The house was in remarkable shape, but why were the clocks so tall? My favorite part was the canes.

I think the item at 25:48 is a scepter not a walking cane. At 41:00, that is crystal pyrite or fools gold, we have a lot of it here in Canada. The architecture in this house and the artifacts that were collected are absolutely wonderful. I love the stone walls downstairs and the beams throughout the house. Very nice video.

Думаете этот дом 🏡 заброшен ? Как постанови выглядеть , пыли мало , на кухне на полу миска с молоком видимо для кошки , так же в туалете лоток … в спальне вообще пыли нет … постановка … выключили везде свет и рассматривали то что хозяева разрешили , а что нет то на ключ закрыты дверки

Roger was een verzamelaar.... en geen klein beetje. Prachtige spullen, van wandelstokken en ceremoniële stoffen, tot carbide lampen etc etc etc.... zonde om dit gewoon te laten weg teren, net zoals het Prachtige huis, ongelofelijk deze vondst.... de jachtgeweren kunnen van mechelse makelij zijn, oud, gegraveerd, en natuurlijk van Franse bodem zelf ook. Maureno I think this has to be my one of my favorite episodes that you’ve done. And you’ve done some spectacular ones the things in there should a lot of them be in museum yet sad to think that they would just sit there and rot. Were you in any danger going through it? It looks like they left in a hurry or they passed away there. Maybe they didn’t have kids. It was odd not to see any personal pictures or anything like that. But I would imagine with the type of work that he did that’s just some thing you don’t put out. I don’t know. It was nice to see you and Ramon back together. Of course it's really such a pity, that all these wonderful items and antique furniture are just left abandoned to rot away for ever! What a house!!!! I would love to have some of those antics. The item you described at 18:37 is in fact a churn for making butter, it is called a butter churn. The milk from the cows/goats would be allowed to sit over night letting the cream rise to the top. They would then carefully spoon the cream from the top and placed into a separate jar and kept in the fridge until enough had been gathered to make the butter. The cream is poured into the top of the churn the cover placed back on top where upon you would gently turn the handle beating the cream until it forms the butter. It is a slow prosses and takes quite sometime. When the butter forms and it becomes harder to rotate the handle; the whey (the liquid left when the butter is formed) also known as buttermilk is drained. This buttermilk can be drunk or used in baking. The butter is then removed from the churn where it is kneaded and salt added to finish forming the butter. It is then pressed into butter molds and left sit until firm. Once it has set the butter is removed and placed in sealed containers then stored in the fridge. We had one similar to the one you are looking at. You have never really tasted butter until you have had homemade butter. I love your explores I look forward to many more. That house is full of surprises; I can only hope that family members were able to recover most of the belongings. The rock you were handling was pyrite; it was very common in the place where I grew up. It's part of the Cambrian shield. Oh, there was so much stuff I would have loved to have owned. I'm always baffled by these abandoned homes that are doubly abandoned by family members. It's a crying shame. Well done! I'll catch up with the other videos later. I've only been watching Japanese videos highlighting affordable accommodation because there's a good chance I'll be in Japan for Christmas and New Years! 🤞🤞 Hoping my health improves fast.
